July 28, 200916 yr why don't we compile a history of runescape, like the clan wars and alliances over the years, I think that would be prety sweet :P
July 28, 200916 yr yeah you first, it would be incredibly difficult and time consuming to do, plus most people would end up disagreeing with the facts dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.
July 28, 200916 yr Pretty much every major clan will keep a note of thier own history. but you have fun trying to create a history everyone agrees on, especially when you consider there probably 100+ clans created a day and equally 100+ disbanded Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
July 28, 200916 yr It is a cool idea, for sure, but mostly impractical. Individual clans keep their own history well documented but compiling it in an unbiased and complete way honestly just isn't worth the effort. It's been tried before, and failed. July 29, 200916 yr This has been tried before but it's quite an undertaking. With love to one, friendship to many, and good will to all.
July 29, 200916 yr There's a decent pre-RS2 history out there...can't be bothered to find it for you though :P True Ownage Co-Leader

August 1, 200916 yr There's a decent pre-RS2 history out there...can't be bothered to find it for you though :P http://www.geocities.com/timmymwd/history.html Mostly biased, but still a fun read. Writing a new history would be impossible, because after RS2, especially after Wilderness got removed there are A) Too many clans in the world that content B) No interesting rivalries, hate and drama - it's all for 'good fun'

But, don't forget this: Impossible is Nothing. I'm gonna use what Charlie Sheen once said on Two and a Half Men: Why did people want to climb Mount Everest? Not just because it looked like a big, pointy melon, but also, because they wanted to show that everything is possible.
August 1, 200916 yr I think it would be cool from a tactical standpoint, to see how we came from 1v1 battles, to capped miniwars, to dragging = nh (what a concept lol, it's not anymore though), to welfare gear = nh, to no wild, etc.
August 3, 200916 yr That would be thousands of pages lol. Don't think its really feasible either. Hard to recollect every single war. Noitpurroc Leader
August 4, 200916 yr I think it would be cool from a tactical standpoint, to see how we came from 1v1 battles, to capped miniwars, to dragging = nh (what a concept lol, it's not anymore though), to welfare gear = nh, to no wild, etc. Sure, a more general concept would be feasible. You simple look at the tactics behind wars, and the changes in the places (Wilderness single, Wilderness multi, Clan Wars,...). This would make an interesting view on how clans changes over time as well (quality - quantity - both), and would explain why alliances aren't really needed any more, but are purely for fun nowadays. You could describe each type with examples (like RSD Vs MI in RSC days, DI Vs RSD Multi-Wilderness, ...). Would make a nice guide thing on the Tip.It Clan Section..
