So, I will soon be getting 99 theiving, my first skillcape, woohoo~ So, I am wondering, is it considered a noob cape like fletching or cooking since it is pretty easy to get? Took me only 2 weeks, or is it slightly respected since it requires constant attention? :I

Thieving is fairly well respected, in part because few people realize it is an easy cape.

I wouldn't call it nooby at all. Fletching, cooking and may be woodcutting/firemaking are pretty easy to get, but I find thieving takes too much concentration and such. Sure, it may not be as as awesome as mining or something, but it's still decent.

It's a very easy 99, but not as pathetically easy as cooking/fletching. How you regard the cape, is totally up to you. As for me personally, I don't see 99 thieving as a great achievement.

 

 

 

But who cares what other people think. It's a game. If you feel like it being proud for it and wearing the cape... by all means do it. It's a game, and not a competition.

Well i personally think it depends how you got it... If you blackjacked to 99 its more appluadable than if you pp... But if you pickpocketed paladins to 99 then thats even better and so on... To be honest, no one is really going to care how you got it anyway...

This makes no sense at all. So in other words, if you train less efficiently, it is more respectable? backward priorities?

 

 

 

I like the theiving cape. As someone else has said, it is no RC/mining/Agility cape, but still nice.

i love my theiving cape always wear it plus it was my first so all i can say is be happy its a great cape :D

I don't think i've ever seen anyone say that the thieving cape is nooby. It isn't nooby at all because of all the attention it requires to get it.

 

And, who cares what other people think about it? Wear it anyone even if someone for no apparent reason calls you a noob. Most people who call me a noob when I wear my fm cape, I like the look of it, are either low level players with the common thought that higher level players should not wear fm, fletch, cooking capes or just random people that try to insult you by calling you a "noob". Either way it doesn't matter, just don't listen to them if they're like that. It's your accomplishment your thoughts are the only ones that matter about the skill if you like it. :)

All I can say about cookin/fletching/thieving capes being "nooby" is my lvl 138 friend, with 11 99's wears his cooking cape.

If he likes it, i see no problem with it to be honest. Skill Capes are meant to be worn if the owner likes it.

Exactly. I'd wear my Quest Point Cape even if I had 2+ 99's (or any tbh) becauce I like it better. Actulally, I probably wont, seeing as it doesn't give the +4 (or is it 2) prayer bonus trimmed skillcapes do. If it did, then I'd definately wear it. Seems like I've rambled...

Its +4 but if your not doing a combat/praying thing you could always wear the quest cape :thumbup:

Thieving is the 14th most common skillcape.

 

 

 

Fishing/WC are more common which I think is ludacris.

 

 

 

If you get a 99, wear it.

It's a friggin cape. If you got it because you like the skill, you have all of my respect. If you got it because you wanted a skillcape and for low levels to look up to you, then you have none of my respect.

I still don't see how spending a wad of cash and getting 13m exp in a skill like cooking or fletching is nooby...
