Hey I just calc'd 80 crafting for Skiier and posted it on his blog. You can do this same method for experience with profit if you want. I know you are already 80, but exp with profit is always nice right? ha

Do you have Varrock Armour 3? If so do your daily battlestaves (64 from Zaff + buy 5 from Baba Yaga on Lunar Isle for profit and 15 from Baba Yaga for a loss) thats 84 staves a day + 80 Seaweed from Arhein and 84 Buckets of Sand from Bert. If you collect 4 more Seaweed a day you can make 84 Air Battlestaves a day for 17,640 exp in Craft and 11,884 exp in Mage with profit.

There is minimal profit and the time spent charging the air orbs can take a little while because you have to run to and from the altar.

 

I know its not much experience, but it adds up. For 80 Crafting it would take you 80.7 Days (so 81 Days) just doing this, but probably less because of experience here and there from cutting gems. And it would also get you 962,604 Magic exp which would put you at level 90 Magic.

 

You would need to make a total of 6,780 Air Battlestaves (210 exp total each. 20 for Molten Glass, 52.5 for Glass Orb, and 137.5 for attaching the Air Orb to the Battlestaff) and you would profit ~13,595,040gp (167,840gp x 81= 13,595,040gp).

-Or-

You could kill 22,964 Green Dragons and make 7,655 Green D'hide Bodies which would take a lot longer (not much because you have yak), but you would profit 34,791,975gp from High Alching the bodies. (35,825,400gp from alching - 1,033,425gp from tanning = 34,791,975 ) and you would only get 497,595 Magic exp which would get you 89 Magic.

 

Personally I would do the Air Battlestaff method because it would only take like 30 mins a day so you wouldn't be grinding.[/Hide]

^^ bstaves are nice , i buy what i can (8 staves a day) :'( and i hate running orbs. leveling prayer will get me loads of craft xp with cash when i slay more green drags^^ but atm i should just stick to mining gold, i should have 30mil in cash when i have 90 craft^^ and i think i calc'd 99 pray to be like 30mil craft xp from greens o.o;;;

gave me the idea to start a DIY'er myself, just wondering if u can gimme some advice, its nothing like i've done before on any accounts i've had.

I'm not a DIYer, but I would think you should focus on fishing/cooking first to get food for training. If you're P2P, you should also get some herblore levels too. Train up a bit, only killing things that drops Charms and Clues. Do every clue, pages are nice since you get those neat books. The other rewards are snazzy too, though unless you get 3rd Age it's basically nothing but Rune and Black D'hide armor to you (and that's only if it's lvl3!). Do as many quests as possible, get a good amount of cash (from alcing, I would assume) and use MTK whenever possible. Barrows gives you high-end armor and a [cabbage]load of runes. Slayer is one of the most important skills, it gives you a large variety of resources from the diverse monster drops and gives you the ability to gain some more, high-end items (D Boots and Whips). You can also net a Visage if you're lucky, and the clues and charms will roll in.

hmm, ive done, and do everything you just said :S ty for that info though, will help all the newbs msging me for help with new diy'er accs ;p

i have every unique book + 50ish extra pages ;p i have almost all the barrow armor, and more than enough runes that i will probboly never even touch ;s ofc herblore is a must, my herblore goal iss 94+ but that will be years, im just focussed on onyx + 99 mining with gold ore and my diy'er rsc acc atm ;p

lol cant believe i never noticed craft potion <3 10k gold ore from 87 crafting, and tokkul will take no time to get <3 just 50 hours of smelting to go for fury ^^

oddly enough i had 7 wergali seeds in bank, never looked into em though ;p just need to fish some frog spawns from lumby cave
