Well, the day is closing in as the day when Legendz (LGZ) was first officially born. Though the actuality of LGZ's birth is an arguable fact- since LGZ was running before it officially made its public appearance. It is rumored to have begun in the late hot summer of 2008, in the blessed month of July. Those days, LGZ was a mere group of clan warring-enthusiasts, infact; it was the drive of having daily- almost 24/7 clan warring is what pushed LGZ to become an official clan. The impact and exhilarating experience of a 2 week marathon of nonstop clan warring will never cease to amaze me and those who partook in the event.

 

 

 

It was near the end of summer, school closing in closely, the auspicious month of September that LGZ officially opened its doors as a clan- with the sole objective of perfecting and maintaining the clan wars experience. Today LGZ stands as a much improved vision of what we sought of when we first begun. It is without further due, the most invigorating feeling in man, to witness the growth and empowerment of what you had once helped spark up.

 

 

 

From the time of birth to these times; LGZ has come a long way. Though only those who partook in the journey are the only ones that can truly agree to this. As a token of appreciation, a compilation of memorable moments will help describe the experience...

First Official War - Legendz vs Blasphemy

 

Our first war was against a clan that had been around for much longer than us, but we took up the challenge and declared. Blasphemy showed superb warring ability compared to us, the newcomers in town, but they couldn't withstand our count and eventually LGZ pulled through. Not our greatest battles in terms of wins, but without a doubt it had the greatest impact in terms of learning and adopting new strategies.

LGZ Forums Compromised

 

As time went on, we warred many other clans; and were maintaining a solid 8 win streak with 0 losses. It was then, that a shady figure from what is now known as clan Pure Hatred compromised our forums. Luckily, the damage was belittled as we had numerous members who reported the incident on the spot. To everyone's surprise, it only took 3 days to rebuild from the damage done.

Epic War - Legendz vs Legacy Kingdom

 

When LGZ had started; there were handful other clans that had sprung up around our time aswell. One of them, was Legacy Kingdom (LK). Having the same level range as us, they were seemingly our only true rivals at the time that can possibly compete. This video shows our second full out war with them, which we had won again (both rounds). The 2nd round was the most memorable; in which LGZ started with 46, LK with 47. LGZ pulls through and ends it with 7.

Most Anticipated War - Legendz vs Downfall

 

Both top clans in their class, both active, both in the same level range at the time. It was only a mere spark before something goes off. And Downfall took it by declaring a full out. Both clans massed what they could at the time; LGZ: 60, DF: 49. LGZ takes it home ending with 18.

One of LGZ's highest pulls - Legendz vs Tempted Killers

 

Tempted Killers joins TWR and declares a full out; though TK had a major level advantage, LGZ took up the challenge to see how far they can go with full outs. Needing a 90+ pull to compensate for TK's level advantage, LGZ massed a decent 68; a high count for our wars nonetheless. The war begun with LGZ's 68 and TK's 60, TK also having a record-high mass. It was a harsh battle for LGZ due to being heavily out leveled, but a loss is always acceptable as long as it doesn't happen again. TK is victorious, ending with 37.

I've only been in LGZ for 6 months, and all I can say is that it truly is... Legendary.

 

 

 

Although we've had some ups and downs, I don't regret a single moment of it.

Well, yea I remember you all started out in w141 dd & auto'ing "cyan:join infinitone - 90 plus - tactical ownage" and was always trying to beat you guys at first by joining opposing clans, and Infinitone I thought you were such a stuck-up noob at this time too, along with the rest of LGZ, like Zq50. But never realized you had true friends (60+ of them lol) to always back you up and what you stood for, was always honest, had honor, loyal, person, but didn't appeal like that, well not to me at least. :P I guess you were just too brilliant (you are to be honest) and I didn't like it. Must be where you got "tactical ownage" from :P

 

 

 

And it was truly dominate clan from the start, one of their first big wars in october, they pulled 72 actual LGZ to a war, which was truly remarkable and not mentioned yet, to my surprise(!!), and 66+ to the following war,(I think). Supplied by epic pulls, they could always correct their mistakes in wars and finish strong with a victory, at the start of LGZ back around September - November.

 

 

 

After Infinitone went to college or Inactive for whatever reason, They all:

 

#1 - Remained with LGZ, even with the original Founder's inactivity, is something to be proud of. No massive ML cuts or nothing. Shows how strong their friendships and community was.

 

#2 - Also kept pulling 45+ to wars was good, Inactivity didn't catch on for LGZ.

 

I even soon became friends with Jc_067 and LGZ and massed with them at w29 BH Bank just to showed support, no real reason. (I dropped the team 49 capes on the floor at BH during LGZ's mass, twice, Lol)

 

#3 - To this day, they remain pulling 45+ to all their Full-Outs.

 

 

 

After a year, I can say I've seen LGZ strive under the pressure of major losses like DF and TK, and wins like DF, Demiros, and others, through past and recent hardships, that community turned into a big friendship, and won't and hasn't ever been broken easily, LGZ is a true clan.

 

 

 

Even though LGZ is probably in it's roughest state yet, during this month, at the moment with a recent loss of some good members and importantly ranked people, which is most difficult for any clan to deal with.

 

 

 

I'm sure they'll get back on their feet soon using Tactical Ownage, with a stable backbone supported by their community & friendships.

 

There's no doubt they'll continue to start dominating again. They have tons of potential amongst their members, and could even be the new #1 TWR if they keep at it, with all their effort. I strongly believe that.

 

 

 

To Infinitone -

 

Not always seen eye-to-eye with you on alot of things, as mentioned earlier, but I can say, take some blame for that cause I just greatly disliked you from the start at first, back in July of 2008, when you showed up in w141 and owned them completely 1-2 hours straight a day, then you went back to P2p. And, was always good with Media like vids, and sites, and organization, and took tons of (well-deserved, by the way) pride in your work, etc. Soon enough though, even got along with you for a bit, little midnight chats cause there was always 5+ people + you in your Clan chat, and I never went to sleep.

 

But I also can say, as a proud "adversary" of you, I learned alot, and realized ever more than I learned, in the Logic you had behind everything you did. So a little "thanks" is in order.

 

 

 

Personally & currently, I can say - Your a great, Ingenius, superb, successful, knowledgable person, with everything it takes to Lead a clan, except the Time; cause Real Life is a big deal for you.

 

 

 

 

 

To Legendz -

 

Together, nothing can stop you guys from being a great dominate force, that you always have been.

 

Individually, nothing can stop anyone of you guys from being the triumphant, masterpieces you are.

 

Keep up the best of the best work you guys always have been doing.

Legendz, alongside with your acquired eminence, knowledge, and sensational progress towards all of achievements and advancements in the past, and to come in the future; I can say you guys are truly going to be a crowned successor in your Warring and the Clanning World Competition. One day (maybe even soon), you might even become the Descendant of the TWR #1 Rank. So Best of Luck to your Glorious Future (and may Jagex be with you :P)
