Some of the highlights from the Q&A and Live Q&A: Shamushand asks: In your opinion, do you think RuneScape will ever surpass it's current engine limitations, like having our characters walk in a grid, or having the game run in 600 millisecond 'ticks'? Do you have any more advanced graphic features planned (bloom, Depth of Field, etc)? Do you think we'll ever have the ability to control our characters with the keyboard, like some other MMO's? Have you been spying on us? Are you one of our staff in disguise? :P These questions are remarkably similar to questions we have been asking ourselves internally. To answer your questions: maybe, yes and yes. Keyboard control in the future? That sounds like an awesome addition. Wonder how it would work though. Deathgodlink asks: Are you guys ever going to make it so ex members can still play the f2p game without having to drop their members stuff? Yes, we have plans to fix the bank so members items go into a members section when you go back to F2P and so your bank doesnt get messed up. This will be a great addition for members who need/want to go F2P for a while. Arengeir asks: Q: Do you ever plan to make RuneScape take advantage of multi-core CPUs? A: Yes. In fact we already have a prototype which does this which was made a few weeks ago. Need to finish it off though, and it needs lots and lots of testing. Also a great addition but I'm thinking it wont be implemented until sometime in 2010. Will be great for high end computers with quad processors especially. Magimage60 asks: Will there be further updates being released to help the lag on computers be fixed? Depends what you mean by lag. We have a big update in the works that should make the graphics use less CPU and run smoother without reducing the quality. It should also mean more people will be able to run HD mode. If you mean network lag, there isnt a lot we can do about that as it is usually caused by problems on the Internet, not problems on our servers. We do, however, try to design our games as much as possible so the occasional bit of lag isnt fatal and we will continue to try to improve that. This has to be the best part out of all the Question and Answers. Using less CPU will be awesome! It's a really nice addition I did throw in some suggestions with my questions, hoping some get added as I would love to see them but it's shocking to see someone at the age of 30 with so much experience with Java and just accomplish so much but then again 23 years experience he's earned it all through hard work.
September 3, 200916 yr Is the extra total level for everyone a glitch or not? A: It's a glitch due to the hiscore module being updated, and isn't related to the new skill at all. New skill is in progress, but is a long way from completion and is not about to come out imminently.

Edit - Personally I think this one has great potential. Simon2328: So my suggestion is Jagex can you please make a woodcutting guild Answer: Personally I really like the idea of more guilds. I'm not the one choosing more content though. But more guilds sounds good to me. If guilds had a basic requirement, what they had now and exclusive content within the guild, guilds wouldn't really be underused, say teaks closer to the bank in the woodcutting guild, or the Woodcutting Guild has even further increased nest chances, or exclusive trees such as Ebony and Rosewood which could be used for future content/quests such as Violins etc, as the Music Skill seems popular. Maybe even the Fishing Guild having expansions on docks, and boats at 90+ Fishing to take you to better fishing areas for deeper sea fishing which could again take advantage of transparency in water and manually clicking the fish in the water, much like clicking on monsters in combat. Maybe a little over the top, but Guild Expansions surely need to be done ;) I also liked Darkdudes comment earlier on in this topic about combining skills I too have though about this, and the fact skills such as, Fletch/Range, Mining/Smithing, Fishing/Cooking should have related skills such as the Adze for Woodcutting/Firemaking to make people drive boost both skills u.

Though cat's aren't really childish... just look at Puss in Boots. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
