I know everyone wishes some things in RS would happen or wishes they never happened. Describe what your perfect RuneScape would be. Here's an example:

 

-Free Trade (or at least a lax trade limit among long time friends)

-Bring back the original Pest Control

-RSC Cape

-Bring Back the old Soul Wars

-Spanish servers

-Bring back unlimited shop stock

-Ban Merch Clan Owners

-Get rid of the 76k trick or PvP

-More bank space depending on Total Level and Quest Points

-Give FireMaking a useful purpose

-Actually make money from or break even from skilling.

-Get rid of name changing or always see your friends as their name when you added them

 

Remember, this isn't a thread for debating. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them wrong. :wink:

You pretty much topped it all. Except my modifications:

 

-Remove pest control

-Bring back RSC pking ( yes, 3 rounds, this game is a waste of food )

 

Also, I'd like to comment on your trade limit. This is a good idea, though I'm more open for abolishing it completely, they'd probably go for this moreso than they would removing it.

I'd increase trade limit to like 300k.

I'd add moar cows in Lumbridge, cause it gets crowded and annoying XD

The Movement and Combat of World of Warcraft, Free Trade, everything else stays the same.

 

Best game ever...

Hmm...

 

• Free Trade.
  
• Old Pking (I don't pk but it was much butter then current system, and there was no "76king")
  
• Actually enforce the rules (If I tell someone whips are rising while they're crashing I'm "scamming", but if a merch clan goes and tells people to buy the whips they just dumped that's not?)
  
• Make useless skills like FM actually serve a purpose.
  
• Make production skills like cooking and smithing actually earn you money.
  
• A variety in weapons, not 2 "end game" weapons.
  
• Higher level equipment like spirit shields, but not impossible to get or horrendously expensive.
  

 

And for the totally unrealistic:

 

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion gameplay + Runescape content = win. It's actually fun to just run around and kill the townspeople in that game.

We have read through the comments on our Official Forums, and have decided to release Sailing as the next installment in the skill tab.

 

The Runescape Classic Servers are up and running, and thanks to our players support we have decided to maintain constant updates to the old RS per week.

 

Inflation is no longer a problem, as we have taken away all artifact drops from PvP. Instead you will recieve special PvP equipment as compensation. All current artifacts will be replaced with it's respectful equipment counterpart.

 

We have decided it will be best to give more information of our in development MMO, Stellar Dawn. Yes, Stellar Dawn is the official name for the once 'Code Name: Mechscape' Title. Check the official website, www.stellardawn.com, for more information.

In other news...

 

We have read through the comments on our Official Forums, and have decided to ban everyone who thinks sailing is a good idea.

 

PvP has been reverted to how it was when RS2 was first released.

 

Mechscape has been canceled.

 

Trade Limit and GE have been removed.

 

RWT'ers have all died IRL for some reason.

 

Bank space for both F2P and P2P increased to the point where its pretty much impossible to run out.

 

Shops on different worlds, and Slayer shops, are no longer linked, and stock of some items has been increased.

 

Extreme Magic Potion now gives a 4-5 point Magic level boost and 10% magic damage instead of its old effects.

 

Extreme potions now usable in PvP.

 

Jagex staff have agreed to stop getting high when creating new content and updates.

 

Telling people that summoning affects your combat level in PvP is now a bannable offense.

 

The special attack has been removed from rune claws.

 

Items such as warhammers and javelins have been changed to be worth using.

 

Dragon meds have been removed from the game, monsters that used to drop them now drop 60k cash instead.

 

Fancy boots now require a combat lvl of 100, total level of 1500, or 2+ 99 stats to wear.

 

That stupid emo fringe male haircut has been removed, but many more haircuts and clothing styles and colours for male and female characters have been added, including all the cool stuff those musicians have.

 

Warnings will now be issued to those who say an item is too expensive when in reality they just cant afford it.

 

Calling this post a rant is now punishable by a temporary ban.

 

Smithing has been updated in various awesome ways.

My perfect RS:

-Random events appear more often now.

-F2P now has 75 bankspace.

-There is now a cape for maxing out your total level, with exclusives for F2P and P2P.

-All the glitches in the Great Orb Project have now been fixed.

-The areas in the old wilderness have returned.

-Price manipulators and merchanting clans have now been banned.

 

That will be awesome. :thumbsup:

I like the way RS is now, I'm just saying that it'd be better if it has better graphics

In other news, we have discovered a great new way of countering inflation without huge changes. Smithing is now the best skill ever, we have released brawlers for all skills now and the high level content keeps on coming (+ overload and exetreme potions are back in pvp, but we tuned down the magic one)

 

That is all.

Definitely remove the trade limit it's an awful idea.

 

Bring the old wilderness back... I never did much but low lvl PKing on an alt, but it was a lot more fun than the current system.

 

Remove the Grand Exchange completely or make it more similar to an auction system with no limitations (read: WoW Auction house)

 

Give more benefits to the players who complete high level activities (more items such as the Fire Cape that cannot be traded)

That's all I can think of for now...

my 10 things that would make rs perfect for me:

 

1) no display names/changing names update (my user used to get a lot of "nice name" before - now awesome names are worthless)

 

2) no skillcapes (seriously guys burning months only to get that crappy capes, and it's driving raw materials&end products prices like crazy)

 

3) fair drops for players instead of based on luck - more like Andrew's table idea

 

4) merch clans are forbidden

 

5) lending system up to a week, and 2+ items with conditions (like time you know the guy you lent to)

 

6) shop sells the "items goes crazy cause of new update", noted and easy access for a reasonable price for the first week to force things to reach ridiculous prices(like all herblore materials after the recent herby update)

 

7) GE: if item doesn't sell even for max, next day it raise by 25%. if not selling even for min, next day fall 25% (to reach way faster it's true price)

 

8) armor for high lvls by smithing that reduce the max hit of the enemy of you instead of the frequently of hitting

 

9) weapons for high lvls by smithing that focus in high accuracy but low hits

 

10) make "bassica prime" the highest rs boss, 1337cb, 1k cabbges noted 100% drop

My perfect Runescape would be to delete every single item except for cabbage. :thumbup:

My perfect RS would be if Pest Control, Skill Capes, and Soul Wars never existed.
