Woo Jimmy Howard with 51 out of 52 saves against the LA Kings. I hope he continues playing like this. As for the rest of the Wings we definitely stole those 2 points last night. But hey a win is a win.

He's not definitely going first, yet. There is one other giving him a challenge. Most likely going first but it isn't a certainty.

 

As for the odds, I wasn't refering to the players. From what I've heard, the officiating was lacklustre. Like I said, though, I didn't see it so I don't know for sure.

you guys hear about that devils game that had to be postponed halfway through? i was there, for both halves, and i stayed 1hr 40min on friday waiting for them to kick us out. but we get free tickets to a future game so i guess thats good compensation. about 3k people went on sunday at 6. we lost 4-2 anyways. but was interesting.

The Leafs lost again, although by now I'm not surprised. To be fair, though, the power play the 'Canes scored their first goal on should never have been one. It wouldn't have made a big difference, though. We outshot them badly and lost 4-2.

So my oilers haven't won yet this decade.... :thumbdown:

I was looking forward to chilling out on the couch Thursday night at 7:00PM, the TV set to VERSUS. Only to my horror, upon looking at my soccer schedule, to see that my last game started at the exact same time as the hockey game. :angry:

Since Fox stopped letting Dish carry local Fox sports channels, I can't watch my Wings games, and I can't even watch them on the NHL Network because they're blacked out [because Fox Sports is supposed to carry them].

 

Can't go to the Griffs game tomorrow either. Hoping they win, might listen to it on the radio, actually I probably will since it's not just on AM.

I think they're pretty solid right now. Leafs vs Sens (5 - 1). That was a pretty sick game even though I didn't feel that the Sens weren't performing at their very best. Go Kessel!

37 to go. But I agree that Wilson should be fired. I only agree on Burke getting fired is because that's about the only way Wilson will be. Give Burke a couple more years to improve the team, then we'll talk.

 

As for seeing a game, working afternoons makes it almost impossible for me.
