January 12, 201016 yr Fist pumping aside I find this outrageous. As of Today (yesterday to some of you world wide folk) New Jersey (USA) has voted for and denied the right to marry a homosexual couple. The vote was 20-14. On the other hand, they felt that legalizing medicinal marijuana would be a good idea. The give it to terminally ill folk, cancer patients, alcoholics, and insomniacs. The government marijuana probably won't be "quality" for all of those who are pro-legalization. It's going to have more effects of laziness and sedativity than creativity bursts and mind release that the junkies crave. To me that smells like a mind control conspiracy. I can deal withthe guidos. I can deal with being called America's armpit...but these two decisions throw me over the edge. How can we deny the rights of two people that love each other, but give the junkies another excuse to be pathetic and weak? Thoughts? Opinions? January 12, 201016 yr You crazy guidos. What are you doing there in guidoworld? Seriously though. New Jersey is just plain silly. I thought medicinal marijuana was legal everywhere? And most places already banned gay marriage. Ya'll are a little slow. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
January 12, 201016 yr Wow. Just... wow. I'm for the legalization of marijuana (and not just medical marijuana), but I don't understand making weed legal but banning gay marriage. I don't understand that at all. I proudly voted against Prop 8 here in California. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
January 12, 201016 yr We all live on a [bleep]ed up planet. Thats the only thing I could think of to say at the moment. [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
January 12, 201016 yr I think gay marriage is only legal in like 5 states anyways, I guess if NJ was one of the five then it's only 4 now. Don't quote me on that though. But yeah, banning gays from being married is just stupid. This is a pretty funny video that came out during the prop 8 stuff in Cali last year. Legalizing medical marijuana is a step forward but is not quite there yet.
January 12, 201016 yr Only in America? It seems a bit backwards to be honest. Gay marriage isn't legal in most of the world, actually. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
January 12, 201016 yr Author Only in America? It seems a bit backwards to be honest.Gay marriage isn't legal in most of the world, actually. I think he meant what I believe. Where legalizing pot was bad, and denying gay rights is bad, therefore a step backward. I'm currently conversing the theory of a MAJOR consiracy over the marijuana legalization. It's disturbing what the goverment could possibly be doing. I may expand that thought later. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. January 12, 201016 yr [bleep]ing morons. Banning gay marriage. You'll be the ones burning in hell ya fat [puncture]s. I hope you get shot down. Now on the marijuana thing.. Shoulda completely legalized it, but it's a start at least. It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
January 12, 201016 yr Frankly if that is what people want then that is what people want. We gay people have been at the bottom of the pile for the last 600 years(before that we owned, and in Russia we owned up until 1890 something), I hardly think that we should force people accept our ideas because we believe them to be correct. If more than 50% of people have a problem with me marrying another guy then why should I be given the right, by them, to make them feel uncomfortable... Sort of like saying 'Hey, what we are going to do is kill you, but we thought that was a bit tiring so you are going to dig your graves and then shoot yourselves into the grave.' Its pretty much morally wrong to force someone to do something they don't want to do, simply because we think it is right for them to do it. Example, the British Empire taxing African people because we decided that African people were lazy because they wouldn't do what we said....The few should never dictate their will onto the many just because the few believe it to be correct and proper. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

In democracy, you have to protect oppressed groups from the tyranny of the majority, and you can't shouldn't put up civil right questions to public votes. That's why, IMO, we now have such things like Supreme Courts around the world. Its pretty much morally wrong to force someone to do something they don't want to do, simply because we think it is right for them to do it.And that should apply to the other side of the debate. These bans stop people from doing something they want. This signature is intentionally left blank.
January 12, 201016 yr Medical marijuana is just the first step towards legalization. Albeit a small step, but a step nonetheless. Good to see it being done. Minnesota and Wisconsin both have bills that are trying to be pushed through. MN's governor Pawlenty is the only person stopping it right now and he is not seeking re-election. Look for legal medical marijuana there soon. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
January 12, 201016 yr What is this incoherent babbling about a government conspiracy? The government marijuana probably won't be "quality" for all of those who are pro-legalization. It's going to have more effects of laziness and sedativity than creativity bursts and mind release that the junkies crave. To me that smells like a mind control conspiracy. I don't get it. Really, I don't. That middle sentence makes no sense.

January 12, 201016 yr Sorry, I think both of those ideas are ridiculous, but it seems I'm outnumbered on the marijuana issue. Why exactly should a drug be legalized? And don't give me this "it's not a drug" cabbage - it's addictive and has detrimental effects on your health.
January 12, 201016 yr Just a question, are gay marriages really banned in most parts of the US? Seems really stupid to me, I mean, what is the reason that it is banned? Is it because the Christians don't like them? I have a gay couple living a few doors from me and i've recently been to their wedding, and it was a pretty standard wedding. Also, none of the other neighbours in our block have anything against them because they are gay. They are perfectly normal, and very kind people and it sounds strange to me that they shouldn't be able to get married. As for the marijuana part, if the use of it is well monitored and when it's only used for medical purposes It's alright with me. There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.
January 12, 201016 yr Dude where the hell are you going to college. Oh, and I saw you got out of school last week, you lucky bastard. When I was at X the nuns would make you walk to school if you couldn't drive, even in a blizzard. And uphill both ways. Darn kids. We do still have a holdover from that era. She works in the social studies department . . . And funny enough we could have easily gone to school the day we were off, but the day we weren't was a mess. Figures. None of this has anything to do with gay marriage or marijuana. You and I are getting married. Now it does.
January 12, 201016 yr hey I'm gonna be in new jersey this summer  I'm pretty sure back home in Virginia there's no medical marijuana or gay marriage. Honestly they're probably making the medicinal stuff legal so they can say that it has all these benefits, then eventually make all marijuana legal.
January 12, 201016 yr Only in America? It seems a bit backwards to be honest. Gay marriage isn't legal in most of the world, actually.Nor is marijuana, which is mostly due to America. Sorry, I think both of those ideas are ridiculous, but it seems I'm outnumbered on the marijuana issue. Why exactly should a drug be legalized? And don't give me this "it's not a drug" cabbage - it's addictive and has detrimental effects on your health. It's not physically addictive, so it's no different than any game people get "addicted" to, and as for the detrimental effects on your health - have you ever bothered researching marijuana? Cigarettes and alcohol are for worse for your health than thc, yet both of those are very much legal. I suggest watching this documentary regarding the history of marijuana in the US - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sknoKWsVlAA - yes some of it is biased, but the majority of it is objective factual information. As for gay marriage, it's a little more difficult to argue that because it really comes down to people's opinions. I'm of the opinion that it's perfectly ok for two homosexuals to marry because they can't control which gender they are attracted to. I just can't wait until the American people finally realize that they do in fact have the ability to think on their own and don't have to take everything that their parents, teachers, the government, or especially the news say as fact. Another thing, don't have [strong] opinions on things you aren't educated in - this isn't aimed at anyone specifically, but in general. January 12, 201016 yr Only in America? It seems a bit backwards to be honest.Gay marriage isn't legal in most of the world, actually. I think he meant what I believe. Where legalizing pot was bad, and denying gay rights is bad, therefore a step backward. I'm currently conversing the theory of a MAJOR consiracy over the marijuana legalization. It's disturbing what the goverment could possibly be doing. I may expand that thought later. Well sort of. I meant that the trend seems to be the legalisation of gay marriage, or some kind of legal recognition as their status as a joined couple. Countries like Norway, Sweden, Belguim, The Netherlands - countries with the highest standard of living all allow gay marriage. Pretty much the rest of Europe and NZ all have "civil unions", which gives couples the smae legal rights as marriage. It just seems like a step banning it is a step in the wrong direction. But also it looks like they have the decision around the wrong way too. If you asked me what was more worthy of being legal, medical marajuana or gay marriage I would have said the latter. I think that gay marriage would be useful or meaningful for a lot more people than medical marajuana. (Not tha I have any kind of research of stats to back that up).
January 12, 201016 yr And don't give me this "it's not a drug" cabbage - it's addictive and has detrimental effects on your health.Name them, then. There isn't an addictive feature to marijuana. It is a substance that causes euphoria and, of course, that is very desirable, but that does not make it addictive. It is very habituating but there is no withdrawl when you stop using it. That's what qualifies it being addictive. Caffeine is more addictive than marijuana. Along with hundreds of other substances that are legal. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
January 13, 201016 yr An addiction sounds a lot more serious than a habit. And a heavy habit of smoking pot is still not great - smoking anything heavily isn't really great. Most people don't smoke for simple pleasure, sociality and creativity. The average teenager smokes to get [bleep]ed up and out of their head. And with some of them, it's such a habit that it's still messing them up. Might as well call it an addiction. Semantics don't matter [cabbage] when kids are just skipping school to go smoke. I have a friend that's a real pothead now, and all he really does is sit around smoking. He's boring. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
