I tried playing it through browser but it just told me to download it, I just downloaded Java too.

Is cooking lobster with cooking urns still the best method for cooking?

If you can post a screenshot I might be able to help you :P

might be that chrome no longer supports java. And yeah the name thing makes sense, but still stinks I lost a few of my accounts; just feels like they are not the same as before.

So what skills are worth training during this beach event thing?

Why did they change the armour cosmetics, they look awful?

I find that fishing is good XP and I've been taking advantage of that. Cooking may also be decent...and I haven't really tried out Ranged/Strength for the obvious reasons. Using anti-sun potions for the 5% bonus training other stuff on the beach is definitely worthwhile though, if you were planning on doing some bank skilling.

So Jagex is going to change Mining & Smithing next year and the requirements for Adamant & Rune will be massively reduced. How will this affect F2P?

The smithing side I can not really think of too many changes. High alch keeps the price of things in a rough equilibrium.

Mining, no idea on that one.

At the risk of sounding stupid, when and where did Jagex say they would do this?

On one of the RuneFest streams/info I believe.

They'll probably decrease the high alchemy value. <_<

Not if they don't increase the amount of resources available. The actual alch value of rune items, the availability of runite ore and the items that could be produced in comparison to the amount from monster drops and more stupidly expensive items plants the difference firmly in the "negligible" category.
Back after a 5 year TIF hiatus. Please don't mind me too much.

They're barely worth killing in P2P with T90s and ovls, let alone in F2P with T55s and regular pots  But we'll see, it's better than nothing. But if it's not more than 400K/h loot at high lvl, it will be dead content very fast.

How are they going to deal with the KBD's primary drops (black dragonhide and dragon bones) which are both members items?

Won't be dropped I think.

Or they will be dropped and we have to get P2P to sell them, like the rewards from daily challenges  <_<

You told us that in the free game, you’d love a way to sell your members’ items to help you buy bonds, so we’re adding it! We are also giving free players a taste of bossing by adding the giant mole and the KBD to their choices in combat, adding some combat abilities to help with your combat rotations, and even adding dual wielding.

It's quote from runescape behind the scenes, febuary 2016.

So.. will be possible to sell p2p items on f2p :) it means drops from that bosses will not change probably. Good update to get rid of p2p items from dailys or th too :P
