So an old RS F2P player posting here, quit in early 12 and briefly checked upon the game for awhile. However I haven't done in ages now, how is RS atm? Assume you guys must still like otherwise you wouldn't be here :) .

 

Saw the reboot of old RS too, seems pretty cool but love for RS seems driven by nostalgia. So will the OSRS last? Also not being able to transfer character is kind of annoying. Saw they added GE, which I have conflicting feelings about on the one hand it was amazing but on the other hand so of my best memories came from selling stuff at banks and haggling, so overall I guess I disagree with it.

 

Sad to see Green H'ween mask is at 80m when I worked my ass off with a friend to get it for like 140m before we quit lol.

Firstly, OSRS is being updated, so it will last quite a while.

 

You don't have to download it, click on the link below the screen you are on to play it in the browser. You cannot play it on some browsers and on mac, not because of Jagex but because some browsers dropped the support of Java.

 

Yes you have to change your name if you have been inactive for a long time (and probably have not been members), so they could free up names

Cooking lobsters with urns is very good now cuz of prices and xp probably better than swordfish.

But the best way for xp is cooking on wines however cost a lot of moneyz :P

might be that chrome no longer supports java. And yeah the name thing makes sense, but still stinks I lost a few of my accounts; just feels like they are not the same as before.

So what skills are worth training during this beach event thing?

 

Why did they change the armour cosmetics, they look awful?

I find that fishing is good XP and I've been taking advantage of that. Cooking may also be decent...and I haven't really tried out Ranged/Strength for the obvious reasons. Using anti-sun potions for the 5% bonus training other stuff on the beach is definitely worthwhile though, if you were planning on doing some bank skilling.

Not if they don't increase the amount of resources available. The actual alch value of rune items, the availability of runite ore and the items that could be produced in comparison to the amount from monster drops and more stupidly expensive items plants the difference firmly in the "negligible" category.

Would be nice if someone were to do a Top 15 Update Weekly to see what everyone is working on/Milestones. As of Today:

 They're barely worth killing in P2P with T90s and ovls, let alone in F2P with T55s and regular pots :mellow: But we'll see, it's better than nothing. But if it's not more than 400K/h loot at high lvl, it will be dead content very fast.
