Anyone know why masks/santas aren't going up much? And why green went down with the last update?

 

 

 

Masks and santas are MUCH easier for merchants to mess with (see below), so merchants can play with the prices much easier, and they will fluctuate much more.

 

 

 

Reasons they're easier:

 

 

 

Less price, = many more you can buy, 1 partyhat or upwards 10 santas, lot more stock there...

 

 

 

Many people will buy these things as a "first wearable rare", and realize they'd rather skill, or get armor, so sell it quickly. This is different from partyhats, because partyhats more of an "elite" item, less people have them, and there are also a fair bit less on the market. - People with them alot of times will also have a better hold on the econamy (knowing not to sell at certain times).

 

 

 

Along the lines with the above, many people who own the lower rares might not have a complete hold on the market, so might sell early for a fast profit when its going up, or as we all see often- panic dumping.

question: is onyx unbuyable b/c of Ma or has it always been like this

 

 

 

 

 

Onyx is because of Ma, it's the best overall ring in the game now by far i think.

 

 

 

And it's best to have all this info in one easily manageable thread, than have a new 'omg party hats going back up!!' thread everytime it happens.

 

Enchanted Onyx ring is not worth it unless you enjoy MA really really much.

 

 

 

The +6 everything won't give you enough extra bonuses to cover the hours upon hours of time spent playing MA.

edit: huh, GE just updated, full helms went up by 75k. Now that supply has been cut to only funeral pyres and mithril dragons will the current amount of dragon full helms be able to satisfy the demand for them or are there so many of them that it will crash soon?

They are selling for 300k or so under min atm so they are falling but not hard. As for my net worth I have no clue, I've never pc'd my bank nor do I intend to anytime soon. So your guess is as good as mine ;)

The "collapse" of 3rd age melee was short-lived -- it's no longer possible to buy helm at min, and I've had no trouble selling at mid.

Well, I did just get a 3A full helm at min. I'd call the price stabilized -- over the last few days, I've been able to buy (with some waiting) at min and sell (with some waiting) above mid. Not surprisingly, there is some demand out there for this good armour, especially with all of the money coming into the game -- the nouveau riche 26k-tricking newbs are especially anxious to buy it.

Maybe, but it's not very successful if it is -- I've been able to buy the helms at min (from time to time) over the last few days. When merchers buy something out, it's impossible to get at min. My sales above mid could be a few rogue merchers trying (unsuccessfully) to buy them out, but I doubt it. If it is, they're the world's worst merchers.

I'm going to buy a set tomorrow, 99 slayer. 8-)

Looks like Divine and Elly are both going down. I remember some threads on RSOF marketplace where people were desperate to sell. I've also heard that they sell min now.
