And don't complain that it takes 2k points to kill strykworms. If you don't have 2k points by 93 slayer, there really is something wrong, and you can't blame that on connection speed. You could just get a fire cape. I like all these people that say if you don't have that by 93 your doing something wrong. 1. Post your slayer level. 2. Post your slayer points. I'm confident a lot of you are speaking from not even being above 80 slayer.

March 3, 201016 yr I don't understand why everyone is so upset. I have 99hp. This update does not change anything. Its just puts a decimal next to your hp. So instead of 51 its 51.0 think of it that way. But I don't like the 2k point requirement for strykwyrms. I have 94 slayer. Jagex screwed us again. I would agree with 1k, but 2k is beyond reasonable. March 3, 201016 yr In my humble opinion, the 2k point requirement for unlocking strykewyrms, as well as the detriments of not using a fire cape are an acceptable compromise. I have 95 slayer and a fire cape, by the way. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

March 3, 201016 yr My clanny is lv 96 slayer, he had about 200 points around lv 80, he now has about 5.6k points and used 2k on the thing for ice strykewyrms and says he would have payed even more lol. 2k points is nothing at lv 94 as long as you aren't stupid and skip 15 tasks in between each task.

I'd rather have the regular profit from selling the runes and I love being able to skip tasks when I'm not in the mood for that particular monster. I would agree with 1k, but 2k is beyond reasonable. 2k is beyond reasonable? I earned 2.6K in less than 3 weeks, despite essays to write, exams to study for, and using only Kuradel. If you have good equipment and skills, sufficient supplies, and a high APM you can gather Slayer points quite quickly. And the update actually changes a lot. The only item I know of that boosts Constitution right now is the HP Cape, but it illustrates a new mechanic that could make this game more interesting. Equipping it changes your Constitution to 100/99, but your Life Points to 990/1,000, allowing you to regenerate / heal to 1,000. A) What if a piece of armor were to have an overload (auto-refreshing) effect of +X Constitution? You could boost your Constitution to 109/99, for example, raising your max Life to 1,090. What if we were to get a Super Constitution Potion that raises Constitution to 125/99, raising your max Life to 1,250? Attack and Defense counter each other, but so far, Strength is unopposed (as is magical and range damage). Now, Constitution can oppose these in a similar fashion. B) What if new monsters could drain your Constitution? Imagine if the next boss were to sap your Constitution by 1 every hit. After 10 attacks, your max life will be only 890, stopping you from healing as easily. It doesn't change much directly but it adds a much more flexible mechanism that allows quite a few interesting changes in the future. Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting!
