well personally i think honour clans mainly stick to rules. so if it is no post they dont post, if there is 3 snipe cap they dont send out more than 3 and if it is bounds they dont DELIBERATLY step out of them (lagg and misclicks r ok as every1 does it sometimes) and they dont encourage flaming.

There's a lot still left but rsc just thinks about top 10 sometimes top 20 clans, rest is crap for them so they don't care. The Clan world doesn't revolve around them, small clans are the ones that recruit inexperienced people and those people eventually end up joining them.

What is honour in a game?

Good question. To me, Honor in a game is respect dressed up in fancy words.

That's all there is to it. If a person was to say that respect should not exist in a game setting simply because it's on the internet...well, I wonder how that person functions in everyday society.

Will.... Lady it's called being inmature..... and I agree with the fact that Honor is alot about respect but different clans have different ideal to their own honor. For Example: Back in da day, NI 's Honor was being the bad boys and girls of the RS clans going everywhere and just smashing clans left and right...... and that's their Honor.... is too have fun in their own way not carring about what others think of them,on the other hand if we take look at clans such as T H E or RSD where their Honor is not to crash, respect all other clans and keep them selves at the TOP of the warring community, or at least use to be.

Different Honors, different ideals. Who are we to say or judge who's right and who's wrong? In many RS players eyes, the wildy is a place for fights between RS players and that's it, there is no crashing or muilty clanning or stuff like that.

And many Honors change through time so .....

I may be a little biased here, but I believe that Dragonwood is one of the remaining "Honour" clans, simply because we still have a zero tolerance for pretty much everything relating to crashing and "NH". However, there are many more Honour clans still out there then just a few. It's mostly the top ten that claim to be "Honour" while crashing each other for every petty little reason they can find. It's the top tiers of the clan world that have screwed with the basic concept that Honour used to be, and distorted it to suit their own little purposes. <_<

Let's keep comments on topic, whatever problems you have or do not have in real life do not need to be brought up here.

Honor has always been an easily thrown around word. Imho, honor pretty much is based around respect. And yes, there are some respectable clans out there who don't immerse themselves in drama and are always respectable to their opponents. Obviously, there aren't many left but there are some.

Not sure about many big honour clans, but my clan is honour. No multi-clanners, teamers, flamers, hackers etc.

TT and TK are also honour as far as i know.

If you stay out of the way of the likes of DF, VR, EoS, Corr, RoT, DK, NI (if they're still around) and whoever else is involved in their fights then you won't have any problems. Clans like RSD and TT stayed clear of the crashing war that went on and were fine.

I don't like the term honour, I think it's a bit too much for an online game, but there are clans who would go by that tag. Gladz, 'The', TRWF, TR, Mori, WG. There are plenty more clans who are like those mentioned, but you just don't notice them because they don't get all the attention on RSC. The clan community on RSC is full with teenagers and immature children, everything's done as a joke or for revenge, they'll post topics upon topics upon topics of utter rubbish, [bleep]ing about each other, how they had a fight with someone but someone else crashed it, then those accused of crashing will post about them having a fight and accusing the other clan of crashing, it goes on and on and on. They're a small minority in Runescape, but they're at the top so they're more noticeable, especially as they take up the Clan Discussion of the most popular RS fansite.

There are clans you can get on with out there, but they're doing what you're doing and posting elsewhere or just keeping themselves to themselves so they don't get involved in all the petty arguments those mentioned at the top get in, because it's too much grief and hassle for a game.
