Ascension Versus Dragonwood

 

 

Today, we had a war against DragonWood. We did not prioritize this fight as we have a bigger war coming up, so our pull was slightly below.

Anyways, the rules that were agreed on were:

 

[*]CWA Matched Opts

[*]Melee/binds/Range ONLY

[*]Middle Bounds

[*]No Corrupt Allowed

[*]No Rings Allowed

 

Startings:

Ascension: 16 (Dropped from 19)

Dragonwood: 16

 

 

The fight has started with us dropping 3 people. Our first pile was a KO while their first pile tanked a little longer. During the fight, Ascension grabbed the upper hand immediately and stayed in control with it.

Our binds were great, and our range unit was tremendous. Everyone tanked it out, and eventually the gap grew bigger. At the end of the war, we ended with 7 people and Dragonwood had 1.

Good fight Dragonwood, always a pleasure to fight you guys, and hope we can do it again in the future.

As for the SW trees being "out of bounds" - I told you they were in, heres the proof. Thats the section of the same picture used back in the RSC UN when "Center Bounds" and the "Northwest Bounds" (before it was singalised) were organized.

I disagree, tanking those trees makes tanking extremely easy, and hardly anyone does it. If you wish to hug trees then make sure you discuss it with the other clan when getting the war. Just because some fan site dictates what mid bounds are doesn't mean anything. To most general knowledge people consider that out of bounds.

When I make fights for CE, I do ask; since I can't make wars for DW and no rules are set against trees, I assume that they are in since they are unless told otherwise.

 

Well I'm glad CE does that, but when it's not specified it doesn't really give you a right to use it. I've seen plenty of warring rules w/out the rule of ML only, it's almost assumed that hey you're bringing your members only, same thing with the bounds hey most of everyone in the clan world don't include the SW trees.

P.S.: I must admit that Dandaman has a point, center bounds for me is from wall to wall and not going past the trees but oh well.

I won't lie, I'm surprised. DW used to have a pretty epic Range unit that almost guaranteed them the win.
