November 15, 200520 yr In your game consoles (and other electronics you may have) would you rather have style, like some curvy thing, or function, like a flat thing, which can be stacked and have stuff stacked on it. My vote is for function, but some people *cough*insane*cough* seem to thihnk that function is a nonissue for a lot of people... I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
November 15, 200520 yr You're mixed up. Function is of course important, I couldn't care less about style... that's why I said *style* is a non-issue.

November 15, 200520 yr My personal preferance would be style.. considering puting stuff ontop that is heavy can cause stress on the CD-Rom drive or DVD-rom drive... so now i dont stack anything on it.. so.. Style for me.. (although i do what to stack IT on things) trust me i've seen it happen..
November 15, 200520 yr If I were to, it'd be style. That's why I find it hilarious when X-Box fanboys use the arguement against PS3 that it looks cool and the controller of PS3 looks stupid. PS3 controller will be very functional. BTW - I think I am going to enter into the console buying market. I saw a Nintendo 64 for $9.99 with my name on it 8) .
November 16, 200520 yr PS3 controller will be very functional yeah.. MABY they need to make the digi-pads(analog sticks) on different axis though... BAD FOR FPS!
November 16, 200520 yr This isn't the place for xbox 360 vs. ps3. Take it somewhere else. I prefer function, but I really do enjoy style also. Function obviously comes first, but I'd take something good function and good style instead of something with awesome function and horrible style.
November 16, 200520 yr PS3 controller will be very functional yeah.. MABY they need to make the digi-pads(analog sticks) on different axis though... BAD FOR FPS! Self Quote from ryans response. (discussing function over appearance.) yeah yeah 360vps3 who cares its on topic somewhat.
November 16, 200520 yr As stated in last topic, funtion. An example being how the Gamecube is compact and cubic, being able to fit in tight spaces (I am not claiming the machine's superiority in anything, so dont flame). My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

Not really on topic at all This isn't about consoles only, it's mainly about electronics I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
November 16, 200520 yr Depends what function, style isnt that high on my list. Lvl 80 construction. Dragon Drops: 11 (4 Chains, 2 Axes, 1 Med, 2 Skirts, 1 Legs, 1 2h) God Wars Drops: 4 Zamorakian Spears, 1 Godsword Shard 1
November 16, 200520 yr Function. Style is generally usefull aswell, but meh. I'd rather an ugly pos that does stuff than some flashy paperweight :P
November 16, 200520 yr Function. It's sort of a no-brainer :| :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
November 16, 200520 yr Depends, I'll sacrifice a little function, if it would look better, fit better in certain places. Functions that i don't really need.
November 16, 200520 yr It depends what sort of electronic device it is, and where it will be going... But for the most part, function is what I look for.
November 16, 200520 yr it would be so awsome if the new nintendo revolution controller, also functioned as my tv, stereo and dvd player controller. So i would choose function
November 16, 200520 yr Function, but the eye wants something too, of course. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
November 17, 200520 yr Style and function combined is often what makes a product so popular. Eg. the iPod 8) "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
