We had a few days prep vs Ascension, and we went in there with a new hope. Legacy has had alot of members go away over the past two weeks, and it has hurt our turn outs, and our activity. Our win yesterday was a relief, and a sign that we were turning things around. We meet up with them, and we went to defend at spiders, piling their leader, and the fight began.

 

Legacy Starting: 75 opts

 

Ascension Starting: 99 opts

 

Outnumbered, it was a tough fight from the start. For the first 45 minutes their snipers hit our binders hard, our pile was not as strong as theirs, but we managed to fight decently, and we managed to keep pace with them.

 

However, at the end of the 90 minute cap, the time was up. Last kill was spammed, they killed their guy, we killed ours, they went on to kill a few more, and it was decided that if they wanted to have "the last word", we would close the argument, so we made it uncapped.

When things looked bad, they started to spam "rofl grats on outlasting" as they ran to mossies, this is a picture of us killing a few of em as they run.

Ascension ending: About the same in single, this is their leadership looking for a picture of it, perhaps to post, or perhaps for attendence.

 

 

 

For those of you wondering why Ascension would leave, after agreeing to this, Lq ( either a current or former rank in Ascension said it was because they heard poison was coming or something like that ).

Why would asc bail because poison came, they beat them last week?

 

Saw asc's win topic on rsc, seems like asc won, but that pic of asc accepting uncapped (if its real) clearly means you won since they bailed.

Downfall came to AC the last 5 min of your cap, which then turned into uncapped, really didn't last that long though :/ Grats Legacy :thumbup:

As much as I respect both clans, the fact that Ascension refused to stop the fight on the battlefield at the end of the cap and took ending options at Mossies shows Legacy should be able to claim the win despite what the endings were. So gratz to both I guess.

Before posting, get your facts straight. It was already broken well before this fight (Ko broke it on Monday; Topic: http://ko-clan.com/topic/3162578/1/ ). As for me personally, don't really care who gets the win topic, I just care if my clan outperforms on that day.

Just an attempt to clear that "we wanted the last word" :

 

 

Basically:

1) You rushing us and some of your members spamming "All day long"

2) Us spamming "Times up", "Stop Attacking", etc

3) You wouldn't stop

4) Us retaliating

5) Don't know what type of propaganda you're trying to spread here by playing out the victim of "Asc kept attacking us so we had no choice but to keep on going!", when you can clearly see in that picture that you hit us first for ending. You think we would just sit there and watch our members die? Nah.

 

Just in case any other idea pop up that this picture was taken when we agreed on "uncapped", why would we even bother to take ending opts? Just some of my opinions for thought.

 

Anyway, good fight Legacy. We started with 90-93 options and walked out with 90 options with 38 on Ventrilo. Grats on your win :^_^:

The fight was fun for us, and i personally had fun sniping.

Everyone in Ascension who attended had fun and had a great experience.

Anyways, GF Legacy, we would have won if it was capped, but we lost it uncapped.

6+ Kills and around 6 deaths.

Honestly i have to agree with Ascension, from what i saw they were saying "times up" and Legacy just rushed their fall in, it made Ascension just keep going which lead to this.
