Since I am restarting as a new country for the sake of everyone, my researches have started today despite me not posting them, while I am annexing Singapore, New Zealand, and Greenland (without Denmark, considering Greenland is an independantly governed territory). Another ten percent is spent to build a decent military.

With the current system, the US could annex every single country in south america, africa, and asia other than japan, I think. And no one could stop that. So i'm gonna go ahead and say that's an advantage.

Anyway, as I already said, we should just nerf America and Japan to start with. America gets 2 Trillion and Japan gets 1.7 Trillion. Everything else stays the same.

Countries with more money take longer to make more money

 

Archi's System:

The USA and Japan are nerfed to a reasonable level

The USA ceases to exist and Canada takes over the land.

Spending five billion a year I am creating a new weapon which will be ready in five years.

 

Atlas 1/5, I will have 150 atlas's by the end of the five years.

 

I think all secret things should be PMed to archi so people can't decide what they want after they've researched it.

 

Edit: my system is to keep things unequal and change the riles back to the old hegemony, with GDP and no other complicated systems.

And Archi, there was no problem with our old GDP system, why do we have to move to the more complicated IAG? It may not be what happens in real life, but in real life there's probably pages and pages of monetry issues, you said there was a flaw.

The annexation system is simple. A person with half a brain could figure it out. It makes allot more sense than "I annex X amount of countries without any consiquences!"

I'm not so much into half/um-developed countries and I want access to space, that leaves the US, Japan and Australia(I think) as the only ones not taken, considdering people wouldn't want me leading the country with the most reasearch capacity and that Australia's nature is [bleep]ed up enough without me trying to GM stuff that leaves only Japan.

I'm already 9 pages behind and you guys just started. I volunteer to be a 'puppet nation'. I love this game, but it's simply too time consuming for my schedule. SO to overcome this problem, I'm willing to split my reigns with someone so they can make executive decisions for me when I don't post enough. They also have the the responsibility of keeping me updated game wise if I fall too far behind. I'll be taking applications for this role, and who ever writes me the most compelling PM shall be declared winner of the honor. I'll try to be as unbias as possible, as over time I've gotten closer to some of you than others.

 

But, until we get that squared away, I'd like to make the following actions:

1) Open door policy

2) private banking

3) 2% tax hike for infrastructure

 

Negotiative diplomatic relations are open for discussion. But i recommend PMing me, as keeping up with this thread has already proven difficult

We can probably work something out where you can get Belgium, though. That will at least give you enough territory so you aren't landlocked, thus allowing you to expand.
