Exactly what is so overpowered about it ross? The ability to bind a balor at the tenth level or the infernal legion? Eh well time to make another overpowered class a druid (because with a bit of insanity [and a [cabbage] tonne of necklaces of fireball [and an artifact that allows you to keep equipment in beast form]] you can essentially provide a nuclear strike upon the enemy)
