I'm thinking about getting the game now after looking at the multiplayer preview. I just need to see the whole thing to solidify it.

I would like to see more multiplayer. More info on the killstreaks would be nice.

Yeah I just figured that the two smiley faces on the gun were just for that specific gun. I would want character customization though. But not if it's just slapping a smiley face sticker you'll barely ever see on the side of your gun.

characterization might be like halo and the armor. you might be able to choose what fatigues your guy wears, what boots, what helmet, etc. though if they did that, it would be pointless because you could have marine boots with a dead silence type perk, and that wouldnt make sense....should be like special boots that let you move faster and muffle your steps (like ninja + lightweight) but sacrifice armor bonus or something. now its starting to sound like r00nskep

Fine then, we'll add another element to the mix. How about... trench warfare, with demon summoning? While sitting inside your trench, taking potshots with your muzzleloader and flintlock pistol, you summon demons from almost every religion and mythology.

That'd be some intense SnD if all you had was stone melee weapons and could only throw rocks.

Don't forget that the difference in team appearance is solely based on the clothes you're wearing (not colour like in Halo). That'll make it a lot less likely that you can customize your character. Guns maybe, character probably not.

A CoD game with muskets and bayonets sounds really cool until you remember it takes about 30 seconds to reload. And there would probably be some stupid killstreaks like hot air baloons dropping bombs or something, knowing Activision.

You know, I always thought they should make a game based in times like that. It's never been done before, and if done right it would be pretty good imo. They should make first person games from all ages.
