May 18, 201016 yr omfg people who trained hard are better Y O Y. And you get team points from crafting runes stfu and go play a FPS. Grinding alchs is training hard? I call slayer training hard XP ==================================== Comon, we all understand the cause of the OPs infinite RAGE, trying to fight just one high level ancient mage with those stats is hell... more like suicide. If you really hate those ancient mages, train up your ranging, then fire a few bolts up their [kitty] robe-skirts, you'll find it works quite well.

Ummmmmm.....................Not much to say. If you want to find me in Runescape, my name is not applyapple. It is vetoscadiva. Complain as you like about Jagex, but think about what they've done. How many MMORPG designers go around to creating as complex an in-game world as Jagex? They do need to get around to making a equipable knife, though. With everyone's complaining about updates, it's amzing that there isn't a forum topic on the fact that the chat box says "You can't reach that" (as opposed to "I can't reach that!").
May 18, 201016 yr If you wonder why ancient mages do well, it's because of the overabundance of meleers. In castle wars, for example, about 95% of the team is only melee, and maybe 80% of them don't even carry dragonhide. Of course they're going to get massacred by magic. Want to beat a mage? Use range as at least part of your strategy. Running headfirst into ice barrage wearing rune is not the answer. Complaining afterwards isn't the answer either. This tbh- why I always wear karils top with torag/ veracs legs (or skirt <_< ) lets me block mage with ease, while ripping people to part with a cbow or whip  Of course, the fun starts with 10 people dark bows specing you (insta kill :ohnoes: ) ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]

Think about it, people use ANCIENTS in pvp minigames, which is easily way more expensive than barrows repair costs...
May 18, 201016 yr Barrows top and bottom costs about 6k an hour to use. It's less than the potions you use. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
May 18, 201016 yr My rant being picked to pieces, I over exaggerated quite a bit, which still does not change the fact that CW and SC are heinously slanted towards ancienters. Get stronger. Ancients can be countered Try using ranging geartry using seerculltry using potionstry using prayerstry robbing their runes awaytry your besttry using ancientstry pilingtry harder

May 19, 201016 yr Author Topic has exploded since I last saw it  Soooo - IMO wasting Barrows in Cwars is not a good idea unless you're just bored and want to dominate. As you might see by my sig, I got 53 thieving (Thank You, SG) and have just over 3k cam tele's left for 69 mage which will get me 70 with the reward from the quest. I hate range to death, but I guess I'm just gonna have to bring it with me. Train my range up one level to 50 first :wall: Let's keep the flaming down and the good discussion up (barring my exaggerated OP) PM me for fitocracy invite

May 20, 201016 yr Use range. If you're not willing to spend a bit of money on arrows, go ahead and get murdered helplessly. May 20, 201016 yr Im still laughing at the fact that OP thinks barrows is expensive to use... DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

May 20, 201016 yr Well yeah, as long as you dont completely waste your barrows screwing around in a non-profitable minigame the repair cost wont ammount any loss of wealth. Even then you could spent 13 screwing around and 3 hours slaying, you'd still yield some decent profit.
May 20, 201016 yr Im still laughing at the fact that OP thinks barrows is expensive to use...You're getting less money than you lose in castle wars........... People are willing to "waste" money on clan wars games. Seriously, what is the point of having gp in a game if you don't spend it to relax, to have fun? Must you always be counting all the gp, to ensure a profit in whatever activity you do? If you're playing RS like that, you might as well "play" real life. Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing!

May 20, 201016 yr Author Im still laughing at the fact that OP thinks barrows is expensive to use... Not expensive, just not worth it to waste the money however small it may be. As stated before, and you could have implied from my signature, I detest range. It's one of my least favorite skills, along with RC, Cons, Agility, and Summoning. They're all extremely useful skills (with the half exception of agility) but I HATE them and therefore, they are some of my lowest skills as I do not grind. PM me for fitocracy invite

May 20, 201016 yr Author I see. Agility isn't really too terrible, just boring for me. RCing I just hate. Cons can be fun but it's way more expensive than it's worth and grinding it is horrible. Summoning just takes a long [wagon] time and we got along fine without it before.... PM me for fitocracy invite
