May 18, 201016 yr Interesting list. I don't really see myself there, I spend all my time in RS either merchanting, playing castlewars, or talking in clan chats or the Grand Exchange about merchanting, flipping, and investing. I guess I'm kind of unique :PI don't know about that, I'd label you as a Possessor by your sig :P
May 19, 201016 yr If you think miniclip is bad, imagine what type of players we get when someone posts a "Runescape" thread on 4chan's /b/. ps. I started with the miniclip generation as well and I'm around the same age. OT: I am a sociopath for sure. /v/ doesn't get too many Runescape threads, and when they do it's generally a more nostalgia oriented discussion rather than a "join this now" topic. From what I've seen of /b/ (I don't venture that far down the rabit hole), they would do less than they are given credit for. /b/ doesn't randomly stage large-scale attacks on sites; they need some sort of motivation to do so. Why does everyone give /b/ such a bad name? It is the funniest place ever! Albeit sometimes pretty gross. Still. Get off your high horses, I bet people who say they never read it read it 24/7. I have no idea what /b/ is. And Ring_World, nice find :D really like it. I'd mostly be a Diamond, next would be Spade...well, if questing counts as Spade. I'd be a bit of a Heart, I couldn't stand this game without company probably. Lastly would be a club. I want to enjoy Pk'ing, but I'm not really good at it, and I'm not willing to risk my items. Although, oddly enough, one of my current goals is to max out my magic damage to (hopefully) go clw with. Or maybe duel tournaments. Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them meBuying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupineThe only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it. Poignant Purple to Lokie's Ravishing Red and Alg's Brilliant Blue.

May 19, 201016 yr I keep public on friends, therefore I'm a depressed sociopath... Interesting YouTube
May 19, 201016 yr Uh I guess I was kinda a vertical liner, but I did have a few friends, though I mostly played solo. I didn't really go far out of my way to talk, but sometimes I did, and was always happy to chat back to others. I was pretty friendly though, I never went around being an arrogant prat, or yelling at "noobs" or whatever.

May 19, 201016 yr But I AM hot, and everyone else IS fat. Really, this is a pretty sardonic look at player types. I think the category that I fall into, along with lots of forum users, is the... Past Experience PlayerWe used to play a lot, and now we still play a good amount, but we rely mainly on past achievements to carry us throughout the game and simply play for fun or to kill time every now and then. Some of us have a good amount of money, but we aren't particularly good at making more of it. Sometimes, we can tend to be arrogant due to being "old school" and being of a higher age than the average RS player, but we are still sociable and love to help people out with the knowledge we have acquired over the years of playing the game. I know that myself, along with most of my friends, fall into this category. Im mostly this except i think im more Nostalgic Old-school playerEVERYTHING was better back in the day. People were nicer, game was funner, etc etc etc. Nevermind the terrible graphics, the broken gameplay and the community that was even WORSE then it is now. These types of players will overlook any bad stuff just because they want to prove that it was better back then also your opinion is invalid if you think otherwise. I think Runescape more then any other game is flooded with these guys World of Warcraft has more. Way more. Trust me. I'd probably say I'm the depressed sociopath. I always use full grammar, use "lol" on extremely rare ocassions and usually use "haha". I always have my private chat on friends, with public on hide, accept-aid off, etc. Click my signature for my blog!
May 19, 201016 yr Great read haha. I'm having a hard time placing myself.. I mean when I'm around mates I type like people who can't write English (Lol-o-mat, epic word btw), but yet I do see myself as intelligent (sociopath), and do not type perfectly (I can, though) unless it's on forums like these. Loved it, you should make up more people :D  Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)Dagannoth kings drops: 73Barrows item count: 51GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)Whips: 4Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)

Fits me more than the other ones on this topic :)So far this one fits me best but i do have a foot and a hand and some other body parts in other categories also. I love letting people know i have played since the start of 2001. http://www.clanhavok.net/
May 19, 201016 yr The Depressed Sociopath: Yours truly. A type of player who considers himself intelligent (and in extreme cases gifted) which started playing as anyone else, and eventually reached the debatable conclusion that anyone else is ret***ed. Characterized by near-perfect grammar and spelling, cynical behaviour and sarcastic sense of humour (at this point I will mention that I type in British English), these types are wondering hopefully across Runescape in hope of finding an intelligent match, not realizing that they are in fact, total d**ks and that their heads are way too far up their a**es. A relatively rare type of player, for the simple reason that these lot keep their chats either set to Friends or entirely turned off. Got me to an absolute tee.
May 19, 201016 yr You forgot the whiner: Someone who always knows better than Jagex, because professional game developers are clueless as to how to make a game. The fans always know what's best for the game. Always. Plus, bug fixes never ever happen in other games, so why the hell should Runescape dare to have a few slip through?
May 20, 201016 yr Haha great post, I needed a laughId have to say I'm between a Vertical-liner and a Depressed Sociopath,

Haha yeah, this is very true.
May 20, 201016 yr Out of those types I would probably be the possessor. I love to say my about everything that is mine :D Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
May 21, 201016 yr I don't know who I am. I usually walk around, minding my own buiseness and do stuff other people do, like fishing and woodcutting. If I don't feel lonely, I play Clan Wars. Oh and I sometimes feel nostalgic about my early days (May-September 2007). What type am I, I'd like to know. And NO, I am NOT depressed! La Vallett1 A.k.a. "Nostalgic Vallett" What's been said must be done.
May 21, 201016 yr Hmm... Possessor player reporting for "my" duty. :razz:Or that Past Experience Player that lalala pointed out. Heck, matches my Runescape behaviour altogether ;)
