DatBooty
I recently decided that I was going to get into farming, since I heard it was good money. I did a Ghosts Ahoy for the ectophial (there's a herb patch close) and I'm currently finishing off A Fairy Tale: Part 1, for the magic secateurs. Which other quests/achievement diaries should I do to make farming more efficient/easier? My Blog
Dreezer
lumbridge ach diary for cabbage teleport (closest tele to herb patch near falador)ardougne ach diary for teleport to ardougne farm my arm's big adventure for acces to the disease-free herb patch on top of the troll stronghold (1 extra patch + it can't get diseased = more profit) that would be all i guess... happy farming  Sacrificing efficiency for fun since 1991

noble_aloof
as stated above the ardy elite diary is the only useful one, as one teleport a day from the hard diary is negligible. Hard is good if you do 1 herb run a day.But for mass farming/herb runs elite is a must. Though generic farming the easy(?) one is gewd for the port to monstary for the bush patch Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
L0rdAki
I'm not getting 93 summon, 91 smithing, 70 fletch and 75 rc for a few extra teles. Hell, I can't even get 70 fletch. Can't afford too. I use the medium diary's free tele once a day, then either ardy tele from house portal/runes or skillsnecklace tele. I'd love to get elite, but you need to fund it. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
DatBooty
Yeah, I won't be doing the Elite Diary anytime soon either. Teleporting to the fishing guild and then running is fine with me. But thanks a lot for the input! My Blog
Siobhana
As an alternative to elite Ardy cape there is the lunar tele to fish guild or skill necklace tele to the same spot. I used the lunar one extencively in my quest for 99 farm before the ardy cape came out. Ty Jeppoz for making it. Thx to the Pup for finding it after it got lost :D And thx to Kill_Life and Turtle for the ava. Stoltenberg, 22/7-11: "We will retaliate with more democracy" In remembrance of Oslo/Utøya. A_Gardener
Just do the suggested quests (My Arm's, Fairy Tale 1) and some achievement diaries (Lumbridge 3 is a must). My method is bank -> cabbageport to Port Sarim -> Trollheim teleport to My Arm's patch -> Ectophial -> Ardougne Teleport/Range Guild -> Camelot. Make sure you always use supercompost and magic secateurs. Gardening for Victory!
Bearded Phil
Get at least the medium Falador shield if you want bonus xp at the cabbage patch a herb/allotments. It's not huge but it will add up over time. If i'm going to go on a tree run after an herb run i'll save my one daily ardougne farm tele for second to last and end with a cammy tele--->patch-->bank and then fruit trees. If i've already used it just ardougne tele and run, also gives a good opportunity to pick up free pure ess from Cromperty. Another idea that works for me sometimes is if you're going to log out while your herbs are growing don't waste time going back to a bank after a run. Take enough seeds and teles for two runs and log out at the Ardougne patch (having done that one last) that way you dont have to run there from a tele spot again. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've been to the Crunch once... SuzanneVega
Fairy Tale II allows you to use the handy Fairy Ring network of teleportation sites using a Dramen Staff or Lunar Staff, and Fairy Tale III allows you to use the network without the staff. Skills necklace lets you teleport to the fishing guild, which is marginally closer to the Ardougne farming plot and doesn't use runes. You can recharge it at the Legends Guild if you have access and have installed the Gilded Totem in the legends Guild foyer (Legends Quest). Zaaps1
I have the fastest routes outlined in my AoW Farming Guide (although with herb runs, it doesn't really matter what route you use, as long as you use the fastest teleports). Check it out, link in sig. I have the required quests/items as well, with alternate options listed. ~It's Super Effective! I always liked logging out at My Arm as that's an even longer run.
tupheadzzz
Combat bracelet tele to range guild is a good alternative to skills necklace (short run almost due south)
SuzanneVega
I like that one too, basically almost any teleport or other transportation method mentioned in the tipit "getting around guide" (general guides) is handy. I'm not font of balloons though.
Quyneax
The combat bracelet also goes to the champion's guild, where you can pick some berries. The skills necklace teleports close the GE (cooking guild). Finally, a cactus is 15-20k added profit per run. The patch is right by the duelling ring arena teleport. Nero
When I used to farm on Dusty, for herb/allotments I used to go: Camelot teleport for the patch near there, bank, then ectophial to the patch near port platypus (whatever its actual name is), then take the fairy ring to right outside the legends guild, bank there, go to the ardouge patch, then bank either in ardouge or back at the legends guild, then over to trollheim, then finish up with the falador patch (you can use the explorer's ring 3 for that one). De_Lille_D
To do a perfect herb run, you'll need: Trollheim tele + My Arm's patchEctophial or Slayer ring + dramen staff (fast access to fairy ring: ALQ)Catherby teleExplorer ring cabbage-portArdougne cape: Ardougne Farm tele (use Combat bracelet to Ranger guild if you don't have cape)Magic Secateurs (Fairy Tale P1)Super energies, if you can't run that longHerb seeds + supercompost (obviously) RSN: De Lille D [P2P]- Visit my Advanced Farming Route Guide -
