Mongols weren't as bad as you make them out to be, unless you resisted them. Plus, no idea if the Mongols are even around in this time period, since I don't know the specific year.

Turkey doesn't exist in the game. There are the decaying remnants of the Byzantine empire, if you wanted. :P

Mongol battle plan:

 

The plan is to invite them towards our castle, but leaving a warband as bait, to bring them close. The warband will be the fastest troops we have. I believe that Nex is using his Hlaupari (sp) in this, so they will do this purpose. Likewise, the ground around the castle will be rigged with traps lain by the Burgundian men. Once the Mongols are in dissarray, the footsoldiers of Kiev, France & anyone else who is kind and christian will sally out and begin the slaughter.

No. You just get the Greece area, Paul is the (southern) Italian states.

Remove the Italian States, and add Croatia. That was supposed to be part of the Byzantines, but it was mislabeled as Croatia. I basically removed Croatia from the map.

Why make it unnaturally larger than the rest of the countries for no reason?

Dungeonal, I basically removed any of the Byzantine's territorial holdings that weren't in the map, and Croatia was supposed to be theirs in the first place. It was originally that way.

 

Mather, it was included. Your peasants were part of the massive force of peasants that were butchered in front of the city, and the nobles were part of the troops that were butchered inside the city.

I know that, but there's no reason for it.. Historically accurate isn't needed if it also means imbalance!

Byzantium beings selectively breeding the finest horses in the land, and in a few decades will have superior horses, which will be for sale. Until then, we being breeding as many horses as we can sustain, and putting half of them up for sale.
