To me it's just the smell of fire and sulfur, loud explosions which won't stop till august and lots of trash and burnt marks on the streets.You don't think that's fun? Seventy times later they are loud things that idiots up and down the street shoot off at midnight when everyone is trying to sleep. And I guess they look kind of pretty. I hate my neighbors. Tonight will be the third night fireworks will be shot off all night long up and down the street. EDIT: ABC has a Fourth of July celebration on with singers and people to help celebrate America. Out of everyone they could choose to be the comedian to represent us this fourth of July weekend it is George Lopez. I mean, it's better than Dane Cook, but it's still a terrible way to celebrate our country. I might enjoy fourth of july if I lived in a nice neighborhood but o well, now to wait to see who gets injured this year. I find fireworks really boring.This also. They would shoot fireworks off in our cul-de-sac, sparkler fountains, firecrackers up the wazoo. Then they moved. Now our neighborhood is more boring than ever. However, my parents smuggled in some fireworks. :D I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. There is something to be said about not having to go anywhere though, it is kind of nice to just hang out in your back yard. Easier drinking potential there. God, it's pathetic that here are all these soldiers at the fireworks, and we don't see any sort of band striking up the armed forces songs and songs for fallen soldiers during the presentation period. We get Justin Bieber singing. I mean, they play some patriotic songs during the fireworks, but I feel it would be much better for the whole thing to be patriotic, not another way for NBC to earn money from every girl in the country tuning in for Bieber.
