ugh so may rules in these forums...this fits under general discussion no?

asking for money doesn't hold any discussion value

At such low levels, you should just go around and have fun with whatever skill you can do. For instance, thieving the general population until they cry mercy. In members, there is better equipment, skills, quests, and achievements. Places to explores, people to meet, mini-games to do. I suggest you refer to this - http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=new_members_P2P_guide.htm - and try to enjoy the membership you have.

You could always hoard money, pick some flax in Seer's Village. Everything is 100x faster in P2p than F2p.

Um...not really sure what you are asking here...

Anyway, it would help if we knew your levels so that we could give you advice that is tailor fit for your. I'm going to assume that you're on the lower level side so most of my money making ideas are going to be based off that.

-picking/spinning flax

-tanning leather

-making soft clay

-mining pure ess

-making pie dough

-killing chaos druids

-catching swamp lizards

those are the ones coming to mind, I'll edit in any others that I think of.

If you don't enjoy runescape then why did you subscribe to become a member? If in fact you do enjoy playing then you should try the new skills and do some of the new quests that became available to you when you became a member. It seems kind of silly that we should be "convincing" you to be playing, especially when you just recently made the decision to pay. All in all, if you try out some of the new content then you should find that it is a completely new experience.

You could always mine coal for a bit, and then switch over to fishing lobsters to help give you some start up cash. Then if you wanted you could use some more advanced money making methods. ^^

No one should try to convince you to keep paying for this game. Only you can know if it's worth it to you. Seeing as you claim you're wasting your money, then I guess you should quit, bye!

The reason you should stay on is the reason most of us stay on. For fun. If you dont enjoy it, by all means, stop playing. No one is forcing you to play.

Honestly noone cares if you stay. You have to care to stay, if you are wasting your money and your not having fun then leave, nothing else too it. If you have any real questions there are tons of helpful people on these forums and in the game that are willing to help you. But your really on the verge of trolling. I mean if you honestly liked the f2p game I dont understand how you can complain about the members game it is so much better, so much bigger and more to do. The members game definitly gets alot better a higher level, with more experience and money (in game that is). If you are not having fun though you will not enjoy it in the long run either.

Leave.

the first thing I did was a bunch of quests, which are quite good for introducing you to the members aspects of the game (some are actually tutorials for members skills). You've got a bit of training to do before you can enjoy a fair amount of this game's showcase content, but don't let that discourage you - just do things that you think would be fun, make new friends and do things with them (or old friends lol). But don't force yourself to do anything you don't find enjoyable.

My advice is to quit Runescape forever. You won't regret it.

You are probably just overwhelmed with the amount of stuff to do on members.. take it easy, and try a few things out. If you don't like it, go to free status or quit the game.

If you have to ask, it's probably a good sign that you should quit. Not necessarily "Drop all my items and never look back" quit, just regular "Maybe I'll come back someday" quit.

You actually have a ton more teleports, you just have to unlock most of them. For example, you have.

Pharaoh Sceptre, must have at least started Ichtlarian's Little Helper in order to recharge

Spirit Trees

Charter Ships (must unlock certain places, like Port Tyras and Oo'glog)

Lleyta Elf Crystal to Temple of Light and Lleyta

Gliders

Slayer Ring

House Tablets and Altered House Tablets

Watchtower Teleport

Trollhiem Teleport

Fairy Rings

Glory (unlock recharging fountain, although with the GE nowadays I suppose you don't need to do Hero's to recharge it)

All the Lunar teleports

All the Ancients teleports

Abyssal Rift, not very efficient, yes, but it can be the fastest way to remote locations, such as the Meirdy-whatever tunnels through the Blood Altar

Compare that to the 4 teleports + 6 teletabs + cabbage ring + skull sceptre f2p has, and you easily have way more than 10x the amount of teleports.

What is a altered house tablet?

Adding to that list there is the duel ring, combat bracelt and a whole lot of other jewelery that you can teleport with. Plus when certain quests have been done, you can change your home teleport to either camelot or falador. Plus the home telports change depending on what spell book you are currently on

soo what if he has no skills he might be a legitimate player who is new as a member. I hate people who make there decisions on who the person is based on their levels.

OT: Like everyone has said try quests and all the member skills, you will find something you like otherwise take some time off or quit.

Altered House Tabs are from the new quest, Love Story. They let you teleport to any house portal.

You can't even realise when you get trolled?
