I was doing dungioneering today i was a ranger with the rapid setting on, then i changed to strength and had slash. I decided to go back to range and to my suprise i went up a def lvl i dismissed it and moved although i was really annoyed. But it happened again, this had practically ruined my account. All because of stupid planning by jagex. Why if u didnt have the def setting on doing strength would it suddenly change to def setting on range. Thanks jagex. Personally i think they should take back those two lvls (but it will never happen) because that has ruined all those hours of making this account. Please dont answer me with pures are noobs or something like that.

Unfortunately, it's been like this for a while, and doesn't have anything to do with Dungeoneering specifically.

 

When you change weapons, you need to double-check what fighting style you have selected on that new weapon.

 

On the upside, at least you know about this now, and can prevent it from happening in the future.

This has always been an issue, it's just common sense to check your attack styles when you change weapons.

I'm guessing you've never made a pure back in the day where your attack styles weren't saved upon every login, and you have to remember to change it everytime, or else you'd get attack levels...

3 defence isnt really that much of a problem, i have 3 defence myself.

 

That being said, this glitch seems a little too common for my liking.

go zerker or restart your pure - dont be a baddy

You say stupid planning by Jagex, I say you should look in the mirror because you clearly are the one that screwed up. You messed up by acting too quickly and are now looking for someone to blame.

It boggles my mind that pures and skillers dungeoneer at all. Its a recipie for disaster.

 

Not entirely. Chaotic weapons are very good for PKing, if you can take the risk. And dDung is technically a skill, so theres no reason why a skiller would not play it.

Thing is the skill was (apperantly) made for pures of all sorts, including combat and skiller pures.

Skillers producing runes/arrows/armor/weps is probably convenient for mid leveled players.

That would make sense if you actually needed those runes/arrows/food/etc.

 

Which you generally dont, 1 bound weapon and the food you find off the ground is more than enough in most cases.

Wait so all you guys are saying that i have to check my combat thing every time i log which is thousands of times. Thats just unrealistic and i doubt any of you do it. All i'm asking is that it should auto save and for all you guys calling me a pure noob, your obviously the noob as you never been on f2p because if you had u would of realised it is the most effective pker.
