Cowboys Versus Redskins game, Week 3. Redskins beat the Cowboys by 1 point in the last 2 minutes. I'm still wet over that game.

Though of course I think you mean video games. I personally don't play them too often at all, and I don't play a very wide variety, but right now my current favorite is America's Army: Rise of a Soldier on xbox, sweet game.

Gamertag: King Arizona

Fahrenheit probably gets my choice, one of the most original games out there at the moment, something that really has been lacking over the past few years.

COD2? :P

Or EA Sports games

Ya, are these sports games or video games. Im guessing video games since its the VGA's today. RE4 won game of the year.

Hmm I would have to say Battlefield 2, Ive had lots of fun hours with that game. (Atleast I think it was realised in 05, not sure)

I havent really played all that much new games this year, mostly due to budget problem. But an opinion is an opinion.

A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have small purple pet elephants named Jack. Put this in your sig if you are one of the 8% who like to do the fandango on Wednesday afternoons

Definately GTA: San Andreas, for the PC. Unmatched.

I'm still wanting to get F.E.A.R. and COD2, but I doubt they will come close.

2005 has been a poor year for games.

The only decent contenders have been BF2, Farenheit, CoD2 and F.E.A.R. However, even they have their problems - BF2 no bots, Farenheit terrible graphics, CoD2 has samey gameplay, F.E.A.R. has unsatisfying weapons.

Games need more originality. Not like that terrible new NFS game - exactly the same as NFSU 1 & 2 just a different layout and OMGZDAYTIME. One game that gets the thumbs up on this part, even though its a console/PC game is Stubbs the Zombie. It's original and very funny - "MY BRAAAAAAAIIIINS!", "What an ugly tie".

2006 just has to be good, what with Elder Scrolls Oblivion.

People creating topics like this is bloody poor. If you're gonna create a "whats ur favourite " open topic then at least post your own bloody opinion.

Resident Evil 4, nuff said

No other games really come to mind...

So yes, Resident Evil 4.

BF2 - even if the single player sucks [wagon] sometimes.

That's probably about it :-? Next year looks rather promising though :D

God of War is my pick of the litter, totally awesome game and heaps of fun.

Rainbow Six 3:Black Arrow for xbox live

Guild Wars for online.

Normal I would have to say Kessen III.

My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

Please :? I've played both F.E.A.R. and CoD2. Fear has a terrible multiplayer at least (I didn't do much in the single player). The weapon models, animations, and sounds suck; the game physics & movement are so soft/unresponsive (it feels like I'm walking around in a fat suit); and for being such a demanding game, it doesn't even look that great. CoD2 I've only played the demo of, but I can see that it is nothing special. The TV commercial is SUCH an exaggeration. Also, I play CS:S on a clan's server with people that also play CoD varieties and Battlefield 2, and have heard a lot of complaints from them about BF2.

Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) looks great, I haven't had a chance to play it though, only bought one game this year. I haven't played enough games to give my choice, but I can say for sure, none of those three are near the top.

hmm, im not to sure... i think if i had to pic it would be the EA sports games,

- Rugby

- Golf

- Nba

- Madden

Purely because they gave me the most fun, invite the friends over and have a jam on the sports games. Always alot of fun.

I'm gonna have to second; The Warriors, had so much fun playing this for the three days it took me to beat all of it. GTA: San Andreas, had tons of fun playing this for the month it took me to beat everything. and Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit for you UK people) which I picked up today, and couldnt pry myself from playing.

Gran Turismo 4

"Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

2005 hasn't been a great year for games, really. I'd probably say Mario Kart DS.

And nobody has mentioned AOE 3 or Civ 4 yet? Tsk...

Shadow of the Colossus has been my game of the year. Though Indigo Prophecy (Faranheit) and Resident Evil 4 come in a close second.
