I know enough about programming to know it's stupid to assume they'd release the results of the guaranteed content poll less then a month afterwards. There was so much content that year! 2008 I believe it was, excellent holiday event... Looking forward to another one after the last one was meh. Sorry to state the obvious, but content is intentionally released at regular intervals, Jagex probably have a buffer of about 3-4 months or so. If the quest wasn't released this month, an equally big piece of content would be released instead.
