October 30, 201015 yr The ghosts look like Fremmy warriors which means they only died recently (since the mysterious power which was when? April?). The jornals etc were left by people (and 'monsters') that went with or in search of Bilrach. The Fremmy's never got far enough down to have seen anything usefull. They're just making us do the hard work.
October 30, 201015 yr It's been suggested they're the ghosts of the Fremminik guards that originally closed it off before Dungeoneering was released. They do resemble them imo.
