the best monster for medium clue scroll

I need to do as many clue scroll as i can and want to know what monster are the best at droping them.

I have been doing nothing but medium clues last couple days. Best monster i have found are the Catablepon lvl 68 down in the Security Stronghold, on the third level.

Many people will disagree but I find Pyrefiends very good for medium clues. Maybe it's just the ranger boot clue i got from them 0.o

I disagree, Guards really aren't that good. They're always camped with low level players trying to train, and they're pretty spread out in comparison to other monsters.

Catablepons are a good option, or you can try Cockatrice. I always had good luck there- plus you can get a load of limpwurt roots every trip and make a little extra profit.

If you wear void you'll keep decent mage defense bonus and still kill them pretty fast.

I did thieving for medium clues. Rocking Out is the quest requirement, and custom lockers are the things you steal from.

 

But if you must kill to be satisfied :P , then try out the medium level slayer monsters such as pyrefiends, bug swarms, basilisks (like others have said). Dagannoths are good as well.
