Dungeoneering Again

Anyways, new character time. Kantin was, as I said, a break from goody-two-shoes-ness. I kinda wanted to be the villain, but I realized I didn't know how to be both evil and intelligent, which kinda cut the fun for me.

Say there's a small town hiding a mage from you. The "Stupid Evil" villain would butcher the entire town personally and maybe kill the mage in the process. A smarter villain would perhaps set the town against the mage, or force the mage to reveal him or herself, and then kill him or her.

Actually want to play an evil mage character now...

^ Exactly my point. My brain doesn't seem to work full-capacity towards evil goals.

Being evil is fun, but for me it's just the torture I enjoy.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Tries to say the word "Adalgor", but instead the word "Scion" comes out. This is after getting her mind messed up, losing 6 levels of random stats and getting 8 levels in one skill (chose ice magic). It could be getting new knowledge or it could be just getting her mind screwed up. Time will tell.

For reference, here's the character form

Name

Background (Optional but appreciated)

Appearance (Optional but appreciated)

Alignment/Personality (Optional, but very much appreciated)

Traits (I know some poeple are not going to like this, but it is for the best. I'm trying to keep it as free as possible, but this speeds up the introduction to the game. You have 25 points to put into these. They will never be referenced as numbers and statistics again, it is simply to give me a rough idea of what your character is)

-Strength (How strong you are. Affects things like damage dealt, ability to move and carry things)

-Skill (Agility, dexterity and athleticism)

-Toughness (How resiliant you are to pain and injury)

-Charisma (Your ability to influence people)

-Willpower(Magical ability and concentration)

Inventory (Leave empty, will be used later)

Well then hopefully if the server is up on Friday, I can make it to friday's session. My character is based off of a character I made in Blizzard's Diablo II: Lords of Destruction

Name: Shadow

Background: One day, when the youngest of the three prime evils stalked the lands, a small city called Tristram roared aflame, killing all who lived there. Only a small little girl survived. Bearing the name Shadow, the little girl ran away to a town that had not spawned creatures of evil. Once safe, young Shadow learned the ways of the Assassin, using traps, shadow disiplines, and martial arts. After training she started hunting down the Prime Evils. Teaming up with a beautiful sorceress, they continued honing their skills as they fought hoards of evil. Finnally one by one, the pair fought the three Prime Evils. After her adventure of hunting and killing the three Prime Evils, brothers Diablo, Mephisto and Baal, she shook hands with her best friend and steeped through the world portal and showing up in a strange new place.

Appearance: Black tunic, Black Leggings, Black Boots

Alignment/Personality: Will kill all those who dare to attempt to attack/kill her.

Traits

-Strength: 15

-Skill: 2

-Toughness: 0

-Charisma: 3

-Willpower: 10

Inventory: Nothing yet

Basically, in DnD terms:

Strength: How strong you are

Dexterity: How nimble you are (fingers for thiefs and like dodging)

Constitution: How much punishment you can receive before collapsing in exhaustion or...death

Charisma: How well you talk to people and persuade them

Will/intelligence: How naturally talented you are in magics

So basically 4 is the level of an average person. It doesn't affect gameplay much, but basically it helps the mod know what your character is like. (Skilled but clumsy magician, tough warrior, nimble thief, etc) Just play like you would roleplay it, and it'll basically work out.

Yay! BUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Die you creatures of random origions that threaten the world!

My favorite traps and shadow disiplines (type, name of thingimagig, description):

1) Shadow disipline (SD), Burst of Speed: Allows user to move/ attack more quickly.

2) SD, Cloak of shadows: Monsters can't see far distances very well.

3) SD, Fade: User becomes see through.

4) SD, Shadow Warrior: A copy of the user, just more stupider.

5) SD, Shadow Master: A copy of the user, more smarter than Shadow Warrior.

6) Traps (T), Blade Sentenial: A boomerange shurkin that travels a short distance

7) T, Wake of Fire: Hits enimies that trigger it and does damage

8) T, Blade Sheild: Exactly what it sounds like (Hovering and spinning blades), protects user

Obviously I probably can't use them yet, can I?

Stats:

0 Crafting - 93

0 Thievery - 55

0 Archery - 66

5 Aura .03

Inventory:

Iron Dagger

Quiver of Iron Arrows

Ghostwood Shortbow

Wooden Duck Carving

Book (sealing magic)

These will be very important...

there are about 6 in the entire world. It is easier to tell without the interferance from everyone else. Two of which are in the northern part of Fractus and are emanating absurd amounts of power. A smaller one is nearby. Another one is on Dimiria, fairly close, and two are on Serpova.

As far as I can tell, Shadow's the small nearby one, Jen and Hakon are on Serpova, and Enigma and Harmony are to the north.

There appears to be a massive energy reading on the Lonely Spire, which is syphoning energy from, quite literally, the planet itself.

Currently on a blimp with Earth and Shadow, which I've apparently turned toward Serpova.
