No changes in inventory or stats, just still in that castle with Trent 'n' Briar diggin' for supplies and l00tz.

Also, it sounds like an encounter between Jen and Colin seems.... inevitable.

Sounds interesting, sorry I missed it.

I'm thinking of taking a break from Niveus, seeing as he's sorta trapped with Manipulation unless he forsakes his ideals. But then Ross would probably just have Manipulation break free. Maybe if I made a new character trying to free all the old gods? Or just a mage-hunter?

Colin, I'm not sure if you want to travel around to magical hotspots and do some research though. I mean, there has to be some magical presence in Adalgor or the Silver waters. All the better for my non-sinister plans.

Niveus, I'm sure there's a way that Ross would let you keep Niveus without being stuck with Manipulation.

Aww. I would've liked to make Golems, but.. Eh. Let's see if Telepathy and Nature magic can help me out here. (Also, apologies for all swearing, complaining, and jsut plain unruliness, Ross. I'll try to tone it down, but sometimes i lose track of my manners.. A very large track, which compounds it further.)

Just some news, but I was talking to Ross the other day, and he said that he didn't mind metagaming when it comes to teaming up with other player characters that much. (At least I think that's what I meant. Please correct me if I'm wrong!)

So I thought that was kinda interesting. If anyone wants to go adventuring to some magically cool places and do some experimenting, ring me up! :P

Session today Ross?

Also, mind if I make a new character for now? Leave Niveus to imprison Manipulation, maybe come back to him if I die? To be honest, I'd give up Niveus just for that reason. It would be a fitting end, or at least "to be continued," for him.

Name Thudg Grimvault

Background Thudg Grimvault was named after his father, a strong and exceptionally short dwarf slightly bordering on the size of an elf! He was exceptionally stupid compared to other dwarves and found it hard to work things out, as a child he ripped the arm off another dwarf who was teasing him. Despite being extremely stupid he was always a fantastic fighter, he at age eight managed to beat up six goblins with his bare fists, a feat that not many fully-grown dwarves could manage. Upon reaching his middle ages he decided to go adventuring with only the clothes on his back and a 40lb warhammer.

AppearanceThudg Grimvault sports an unkempt appearance; his features include and unshaven beard, long grey hair, red eyes and a weathered face. He is 2ft tall but 4ft wide; his upper arm is twenty inches in diameter! By getting old hes gained a small beer belly but that doesnt mean he doesnt look like some sort of formidable short cave man warrior.

Alignment Thudg Grimvault doesnt really have any specific alignment, he will help the dwarves if they are in need but apart from that he doesnt take any allegiance; preferring to simply to destroy things and brawl.

Strength 10

Skill 2

Toughness 10

Charisma 2

Willpower 0

Would I be allowed to say he comes from an exceptionally short race of humans who coincidentally live like dwarves? it sounds like a bit of a loophole but it will explain the inconsistency. I have already written it now and don't want to write it again but I'm sure no problem can simply come from me being a dwarf. I will essentially play like a human of short stature and nothing more.

I understand that problems could arise if I met another dwarf and it would be harder to change reactions (a dwarf is going to be nicer to another dwarf instead of nicer to a human I assume).

Well, I was basically thinking that instead of a decimal xp system, I would start using a 1-100 xp system. So to get to level 2 from level 1, you need 100 xp. Simple enough. As it turns out, it only took me like 10 minutes to get the skeleton down.

The program lets me generate a 1-100 result, and then apply deductions based on level. So if you're level 10, you would get a -30 to the xp gained.

Would that mean that actions have a set amount of experience?

---

And it's based on the current level that is getting experience, right?

Would every level require only 100 exp?

It seems that levels would be gained faster now.
