biggest problem is that idiot pkers don't pray cause they think it's no honor. if you pray youll generally be fine. you'll definitely get flames for it but whatever

 

This is irrelevant to the argument and hardly proves korasis as balanced or inbalanced. Seeing as prayer applies to every weapon.

 

What doesnt apply to every weapon is defence, thats right, defence is useless against korasis, and this is inbalanced.

 

At least for other weapons you can say, put d'hide on for mage defence, and pray melee to protect against KO's this protects you from 2 combat styles. Korasis doesn't have that option due to 100% accuracy and all you can do is pray mage all the time and hope he has korasis and not some other spec weapon, and even then its just as powerful as any other KO weapon when prayed against.

It's the combination of a 100% accurate special and an extremely low replacement cost (considering the power of the weapon) that makes it unbalanced. It NEEDS to be at least as much as a whip to replace, preferably more since the spec is more lethal than an AGS spec.

Id say its more lethal than an AGS spec, and yes, it needs to be freakin expensive.

 

Its much more accurate, has only a slightly lower max hit, and a much shorter recovery time. The only advantage AGS has in the KO area is the fact you can spec twice in a row. But the fact it takes so long for the second hit to come around means your enemy could have easily food comboed and avoided it be then.

And the KS itself is more powerful than a dragon scimitar, so you can just use it alone as your main attacking weapon, negating the delay and telegraph of using a separate spec weapon.

That's because it's a magic attack. My farseer shield drains it by 7%, as magic damage.

 

Bit of a late reply, but Castle Wars armours increase damage for all 3 combat styles, not just melee.

Korasi's special doesn't get the 50%-150% special since Cw is multi combat

This is like the opposite of F2p. F2p has overpowered armour, with weak weapons.
