Heard rumours of a new Rocky coming out. I'd like to see one more as the last Rocky was a major disappointment. No idea will it come in 2k6 (or will it come at all), tho.

Miami Vice looks pretty good. Michael Mann + Jamie Foxx is money. Collin Ferril...I guess we can stand him can't we?

Jurassic Park 4 and X3 will be out in 2006, but spiderman 3 will be out 2007. Looking forward to all of those movies.

V for Vendetta - supposedly postponed because of the london bombings, it was supposed to be out already.

 

 

 

X Men 3 - saw the first two, so i figured i might as well see this one.

 

 

 

Sin City 2 - listed as coming out in 2006, dont know if it actually does or not.

Poseidon - actually didnt know they were remaking this until about 2 minutes ago when i was looking through the upcoming releases. the original was a hoot, hopefully this one is good.

Plus, even if you refer to it as a remake, it's only like 25 years old. What's the point of remaking that? It's not like some great new movie invention has come in (ie. colour, or something), and there's no special effects to update. I don't think it will have the charm of the original at all. Of course you can do much more with special effects, new techniques, lenses, sound etc. etc. do you think it stopped evolving after the 70's? And you could face a worse director than Tony Scott.

But as I said...There wasn't any computer generation in the first...And if there is in the remake, that will take all the authentic feel out of it. Like, when they have the thousands of gangsters all together...Some of the extra's in the original were actual gangsters.

It's not like that authentic feel gets ereased of the old movie. I like it that they have one that has that 'authentic' feeling and a newer one that is graphically optimized. That's two different things rather then remaking something that has been done before. Also it makes links to older movies other people might have never heard of and makes them start seeing older movies.
