Vezon Dash
New question. I just got a promethium 2h from "dung smith" (thanks all of you how suggested that) and I was wondering what I should do with my ring. To be honest, I have no clue what upgrading the ring does or if i should upgrade it. Any help/advice is appreciated.

JPMC Mate
Longsword.+1 Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Nifflin
Go to "dung smith" cc for people that volunteer to make you items to bind. It's an amazing service. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. All_Is_Great
Try for a battle axe if you're really into one handed weapons.
Nifflin
Battle axe is good for keying with tank ring, otherwise 2h is far superior with berserker. This. They got me a gorg plate and 2H and i only had to wait like 5 mins. This is a little dependant on how many people are in the group. A group all looking for prom items and had no prom ores spawn took me 30 min to get my 2h Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword

Grimy_Bunyip
p2h with tactician t7 got me to 85 dg.runescape works on a D&D dice roll accuracy system, most likely. In D&D dice roll accuracy systems, an equal % increase in average damage per hit will always increase your average damage output more than an equal % increase in your accuracy rolls. Therefore tactician ring sucks and there do not exist scenarios where it should be used. The berserker ring is the way to go.Berserker doesn't work with the longsword's stab attacks. That's why it's fail and no one should use it. Some monsters are weaker to stab than slash/crush.But these monsters are weak to magic for the most part. only exception might be dragons. I highly recommend 2h + celestial surgebox for these reasons. And don't listen to Azeem. I've read him give advice twice on dungeoneering thus far.and so far all of his advice has been pretty bad. He's sub 100 DG, which is too low for any good DG clans to accept you.So he probably hasn't done any floors with competent players yet. Zaaps1
Level up Berserker to a decent level. If you can kill Necrolord, you'll want to level up Desperado too. If you key a lot, level Tank, although you'll really want baxe > 2h for that, but whatever. And finally I'd invest a little into Gatherer for when you meet Bovi trees/Zeph ores or need to mine ores for ragers or fish food. Not too much. Maybe just 2-3 levels. ~It's Super Effective! Runecrafts
Like zaaps said, berserker for 2h, tanker for any 1hand wep, and invest a bit of tokens into gathers ring. This is all true, but there is one thing to consider. If you find yourself in a perm team, having one or two people with a good stabbing weapon is a good idea, but in that case, you'd use the rapier, which the berserker ring is better with that as well anyways since it has both stab and slash on agressive. For a main weapon, the 2h is beter, the battle axe and spear being acceptable. jettrider
You're going to want a high tier Berserker ring with decent tiers in Gatherer, Sniper, and Blazer. 2496 Completionist

For a main weapon, the 2h is beter, the battle axe and spear being acceptable. You wouldn't really need stabbing weapons if everybody brings mage along. And you should have 1-2 hexhunter owners for the dragons, and of course necrolords.mage kills brutes faster than any stabbing weapon afterall.Same for demons. stab kills dragons faster than Hex I believe.but is there anything else? I used to think 1 stabber is nice, but not so much anymore. Due to surgeboxes. What left is there that is weak to stab?
SirIzenhime
brutes, hellhounds, guard dogs. All better to stab.A faster weapon like a rapier would also be better for low level monsters as well as low def monsters, like shades and ghosts. Also, after piling a boss with bloodragers, their defense is basically gone, so you can put them in the low defense category as well. jettrider
Desperado might be better for regular monsters with hex, it's sniper for necrolord. Same kind of deal for Blitzer, if you quickswitch with surgebox it's better for regular monsters, but use Blazer on dread/hope 2496 Completionist
