As I predicted, several of the immature stereotypical PKers who quit the game in 07 are returning and bringing with them their nasty attitudes. Since Jagex released this poll, there have been a number of new trolls that appeared at TIF, and the mods refuse to do anything. These are the type of people who brag about how they can't wait to lure, PJ, and kill people doing clues/RCing. These are the people who argue using circular logic and respond to your criticisms with "lol u sound like a skiller, umadbro lol?" And there's several of them. TIF has always been just a little above the RSOF, but lately it seems to be just as bad.

Free Trade - Staking - True Pking = Runescape. It's the only decent MMO that HAD these qualities and is the reason why we had the community we had. Now we're left with a bunch of people who play PVE ( WTF ) and hold onto their precious items, the same people who are complaining about the return of True Runescape. The best update to ever hit Runescape will be rolling the game back 5 years, or the release of a smarter RS classic. I never staked, hated(and still do) pking, and free trade sucked because of the bots that came with it.

 

I still won't stake, I still won't pk, and unless jagex changes something fast...I'll see the same bots as we saw back in 07

Played Classic and made the switch to RS2 and the removal of old style pking, free trade, and the addition of the GE were the beginning of my favorite era of runescape.

 

As long as theres still designated worlds for non-pvp I will be happy, let the pkers kill each other and get each others loot, I just want to play my game in peace free from pvp activities.

There won't be designated worlds for non-pvp, that area is what we call the "non-wilderness." Otherwise, Jagex wouldn't be moving all of the quests out of the wilderness.

A clue scroller for a few monkfish and a spade? An air orb enchanter for 100 cosmics and a load of glass balls? Come on now, the only reason to have wild on every world is so 13 year olds can act tough by killing unarmed opponents just for their own satisfaction. Stupid.

Meh. I highly doubt the wild itself change much. As far as prices go, armor and weapon prices will shake a lot due to mass multiple panic attacks/buy ups. Other then that, they all should generally fall a bit due to the fact that items you drop as you die in PvP are no longer lost; just transferred.

 

As for me personally, i hope to train up my zerker a bit and PK myself. I never really PK'ed much before this. As i was too low of a level back in your so called "golden age". And i didn't see much worth in the last 3 years when i didn't know that i was even going to get a worthwhile drop.

 

 

I would hardly call it a golden age. The scumbag so-called PK'ers with no respect will rise to the top of the RuneScape community again. Other then that, free trade will have different effects. If these will be good or bad, i have yet to decide.

A few nasty people gave the whole community crap stereotype. I've been pking since the old wilderness, and I have never noticed the community as bad as people say it is. I often find pretty fun people out there. Hunting skillers in the wild sounds pretty fun.
