Not exactly. If the people run and they have food, it's take a lot more than 5 seconds (excluding the Top 50 clans of course) to kill the player. Snare wouldn't make it overpowered at all. Since you need a higher Magic level than most, a lot of pures wouldn't be able to use it. Mostly main account PKing would use it. In P2P, snare isn't used a lot. Ancients is the more preferable thing. If anything, snare is overpowered in P2P as P2P has more higher hitting weapons, potions, strength boosting gear, etc.

snare in f2p would be the same as fire blast hitting 25, rune scims hitting 35 (commonly), food healing 15-17, and range hitting 25... barrage/blitz/entangle in p2p is the same as rangers having a max of like 30 and hitting loads, whips hitting like 40 and hitting loads, food healing 20 with potions which heal 16hp per DOSE, and mage hitting up to 30 and hitting decently while also healing hp/freezing, and lets not forget specs which hit high... oh wait thats already there.

Since Clan Chat was made as an update for CLANS, it only makes sense that since so many clan members are F2P, the update, too, should be F2P.

To add combat things, WildyCapes, Teleblock, every spell which does not require P2P runes or stuff except Entangle, that would be too much.

 

Att, def and range pots would be awesome, though that is 100% not going to happen.

Bind really helps when PKing with a big 80+ opts clan, including 5+ binders.

 

1v1 Bind stinks, 5 seconds include casting emote (~2 seconds), so it really holds 2-3 seconds. Wow, I can cast *1* spell in that time.

Bankspace has nothing to do whatsoever with bots, they hardly need a row in the current bank. I'll agree with CW, it's in the middle of Member Land, Jagex would either have to move it elsewhere (Not a really good idea, unless they make it an island) or make the surrounding member areas F2P (NEVER HAPPENING). I couldn't give a damn to bankspace, let me try a bit... fail. People should stop asking for bankspace, it has been said for ages, it's getting annoying and besides, we should only be able to recover our Random Event stuff from someone when it's lost and complete that last row.

F2P has barely changed since 2003. But they get these ads because like everyone else, they're playing the game for free. They're not paying $5 to get no ads, more skills, more quests, or more options. Just think of it as a shareware version to the full version of the game. Putting many options for F2P just has the players wanting more and more without paying for them.

What i really would like is some more ads for free to play. Theyre losing more people because free to play arent bothering because they got bored the moment they finished tutorial island and leave. They need to include some features like bank space and admission to forums and polls especially.

 

I agree with the achievment cape thing aswell, we probably work harder than them getting our skills higher and they get the cape to prove theyre better than us? por shame!

 

I would also like some more quests, i would become to p2p again, but my internets broken and i cant, so im stuck waiting for it to be fixed, being bored traveling to and from karamaja when they just go to catheby!

Jagex's goal is to make money, so they have the ads and Members. The ads basically pay for F2P and generate hardly any money for Jagex's coffers, but with more ads, more money for Jagex, and they'll get generous and give us an update (such as the everly-waited skill of Autoer Slaying), items (a proper hood or a new class of weapons), areas (Noob Torture Land =P~ ), and whatever (Chicken-Speak Amulets). If Jagex wants to benefits to the ads, they gotta make F2P enjoyable. That's why it's still here: it makes some extra money for Jagex, gives a taste of the game. But it still should be enjoyable, as without it RuneScape will sink (let Corinthians say it... bet nobody knows what Corinthians is?). And besides: F2P update = P2P update (NOT vice-versa as well!). F2P doesn't moan, P2P moan that we moan.

 

(I think our characters would have better deaths if Jagex made an improvement to our characters' graphics. Then finally we'd get eyes and mouths.)

yeah, i think that capes of achievement should be f2p. but why are most people posting on these things and not doing anything about it?
