Why can't F2P have...?

I agree with Skillcape argument. Think about it, F2Pers work harder for 99 than members do. it would make sense to me that, if anyone deserves recognition for getting 99 skills, it would be free players.

Well of course you can't have something thats nonmembers only.

My main problems with F2P are Smithing and Prayer. These take a ridiculous amount of money(which isn't that easy to make) to level these up. Oh, and killing Moss Giants for Prayer exp? Well it takes an average lvl 100 player 10 seconds to kill a Moss Giant. Not factoring respawn times, other players training, or other distractions, that's a measly 5.4K/hour.

Smithing bars is profitable, but honestly, 10K/hour is pretty nasty exp.

5,400 prayer exp per hour = 360 moss giants per hour = 86,400 combat exp per hour

86,400 combat exp per hour is not possible in f2p.

I'm not sure about moss giants, but I think around 30,000 combat exp per hour is much more reasonable.

30,000 combat exp per hour = 125 moss giant per hour = 1,875 prayer exp per hour

Taking into account the fact that most people go to multi-combat Moss Giants, your math could be off by a lot. You need only hit more than any other person to get the bones. I used to get closer to 4k prayer exp an hour. And 86.4k combat exp an hour is possible in F2P if you go somewhere without drops and with a little luck.

A boss monster. I think that F2P needs a boss monster. And, to satisfy "Don't pay, don't deserve" types, I suspect that a good number of higher-levels like to boss-hunt. I bet that quite a few higher-level F2Pers might be more interested in going

P2P if they got a taste of overpowered weapons and hard fights. If I'm right, the boss would be more of a tantalization for harder fights, like GWD and the Corporeal Beast, than another way that F2Pers are "spoiled".

Also a quest which is hard to do below 60-80 combat (or respectively high skills), and something which you need a anti-dragon shield to fight. Maybe one or two F2P spawns for green dragons?

If you jump into a river in Paris, you're insane. If you jump into a river in Egypt, you're in denial.

Wow, multi-combat killing stealing for big bones. That is just wrong.

I think Elvarg was supposed to be the F2P "boss" monster. When players get 60-80 CB is when they get members(usually) so Jagex wants to tempt them more into getting members than hunt some powerful beast in F2P.

Yet extremely common. Not that it is stealing, anyway. I usually only attack one, though.

theres two in edgeville, a couple in lumbridge, three near falador, one a few steps away from cabbageport, and a few others. It's how you cut them efficiently(yes, there is many efficient ways to cut it, although none as good as subscribing)

we need more yews!!!!!!!! to many people!!!!!!!!!!

(wcing bots)

1. It's called Skill Total World.

2. The 3 yews north of Varrock castle are far more efficient than Falador.

And extremely crowded, at least on normal worlds in my timezone. Are there fewer people there on the skiller worlds?

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

My favorite place to cut yews in South of Rimmington. Sure its really far from a bank, but there are so many trees there and so few other people, its worth it in my opinion. Just bring falador tele runes.

Yup, that's where I cut too

And 86.4k combat exp an hour is possible in F2P if you go somewhere without drops and with a little luck.

I didn't respond to that earlier because I hadn't yet tried Giant Spiders.

I just finished training about 550k exp at Giant Spider, which from everyone I've heard are by far the best melee exp in f2p.

I do only have 84 att and 84 str, but I never even got over 40k exp per hour.

Sorry, but I don't at all buy 86k per hour being possible in f2p.

That has to be from back in the day when wcing bots were just everywhere lol

Whoever said something about f2p getting skillcapes, I agree with that they do need skill capes in f2p but where would you buy the capes that are in members areas?

It IS possible, but not overly likely to happen. I had a few hours where I got 80k+. It's not something that will happen every time you do it, but once in a while it can happen with some luck. That was between levels 87 and 93 when I trained there almost exclusively.

@robert- There are a few suggestions in another topic in the debate club. There was the idea of a teleport unlocked by getting the 99 that would take you to the skill master or moving the few F2P capes that are in P2P areas out of them. But probably the easiest would be to have 1 guy give out all capes for F2P.

I can't really say for sure but judging by the amount of people in that world, it is likely that there are very few/no people there.

Lets be very very generous and assume average exp/hour is 40k at giant spiders, with a standard deviation of 5k.

Even that would put 80k+ at over 8 stand deviations from average.

Yea, I think I'm going to have to not believe you on this one.

40k is low from my experiences. I regularly get 50k+, only dropping below when I need food or want to make them aggressive again during that hour.

F2P should get skill capes.

A freaking 99 is a freaking 99, regardless if you are P2P or not.

F2P should just have untrimmed capes with slightly lower stats than the P2P version of them.

I think f2p should get a ring, apart from the explorers ring, that gives them a stat bonus or whatevever.

Seems a bit sucky that they only get +1 to mage and pray, and no other ring.

The archer's ring, farseer's ring, berserker and warrior's rings barely give any bonuses. An F2p ring would be far too expensive, even if it was but a small stat increase.
