I went to one last night. It was a great concept but we spent most of the time looking for revs and when we did, they went down in no time because of the huge numbers. This would be an event more tailored to TET where we have less people coming for 'OMG A JMOD' related reasons. and it's not about the reward, why is everything about the reward? >.< The reward is fun, whether or not you find it fun is up to you. January 28, 201115 yr If ya'll have trouble finding revs, try just east of the air obelisk -- seems revs always are there. Last night I could barely charge my orbs cause I had to keep defending myself. Frankly, I'd appreciate the help.

But to a high level such as myself, waiting can take from 5min to 20min. But yeah it's a great spot for Rev dragons and revs in general.

January 28, 201115 yr This event is so childish/geeky. Then again... most the things Jagex put out are inclined that way. They should just scrap the 'R15' rule on playing runescape, who are they kidding? I am willing to bet that t least a third of this "community" is under that age.

I attended one of these rev hunting events yesterday, and it was pretty unsuccessful. Totally unorganized, and there were almost no revenants to be found. Of the three revs I saw, I coudn't even attack one, they were all low leveled vampires, goblins, etc. Lame... Judging from the pictures, Revenants are not going to be the only monsters in that new dungeon, and Jagex has said the dungeon will be PvP-enabled... So it'll basically be a turf war in there with various clans crashing each other. Except that unlike other PvM areas, you can actually kill each other outright to claim the spot. It actually sounds like a fun time.
January 29, 201115 yr That's what annoyed me most with revs. The supposed "replacement of pk'ers", the useless things dont even drop anything! I kill a rev ork, I get a whimsical 120gp. Last I checked, a player who eats, teleblocks, and uses all 3 styles has more then 120gp in their wallets. :rolleyes: Popoto.~<3

We circled the Wilderness three times without seeing one revenant. Mod Timbo leading us unexpectedly logged out and left us as a colossal group in level 45+ Wilderness. Someone had obviously banished them before we came along.
