Goldenjkered Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 I've been trying to train agility at the wilderness course for the past couple of days, and it's been increasingly hard to get there without being pked. I literally carry NOTHING of value with me, the pker always loses money when they kill me (due to runes, pots etc being used). I wear a spotted cape, boots of lightness and an Enchanted Excalibur, and in my inventory a normal antipoisen and around 12 or so monkfish. The best thing they could loot of me would be my spotted cape (which is worth less than 1k), and even then I protect item and always keep everything but the antipoisen and food. WHY do pkers insist on killing me everytime I go up there, even when I ask them to stop they just 'lol' and keep going until I'm dead. The wilderness coming back has seemingly made agility training at the wilderness course harder, although the lack of revenants is very nice when I do actually get to the course. Anyone else having this problem? And yes, I know this happened before wilderness was taken away, it just seems it's happening a lot more than it used to. Ye, I've been thinking of going to Ape Atoll, only thing is I'll need to get my Ninja Greegree back (dropped it stupidly around two years ago #-o ) I've actually managed to get into the course without being attacked today, so I'm hoping to get level 70 (67 at the moment) then go to Ape Atoll. That way you can retaliate which would at least hurt the pker. I think if I get anymore trouble I'm gunna use your idea an take a weapon and some armour can at least try and annoy them a little. Clans would move in on training zones and put whole areas on lockdown - Ensuring the fastest exp and best drops went to their own clannies. Until another clan would step up and clear them out... Moral of the story - If you want the best exp in a PvP zone, change your solo mentality and get a friend or two to run interference. Edit: And how exactly am I getting 'owned' if I'm carrying no weapons or armour, or runes for that matter. Of course I'm going to get killed, but I'm not getting 'owned'. If you killed someone fifty levels lower than you in the wilderness, would you be owning them? No, you wouldn't. Look, I think people are missing the point here. I'm not saying I shouldn't be killed or anything like that, they can kill me if they want to. It's just annoying when I'm just minding my own business trying to get somewhere. I pose no threat to anyone and I have no valuable items on me. It's more of a being polite thing. When wildy got removed, jagex replaced the annoying, douchey pkers with a monster: the annoying, douchey revenant. Now that wildy is back, they took out revs and back came the annoying, douchey pkers. My point is: there's always going to be annoying, douchey things in wild, no matter what. Fine, they shouldn't need a reason to pk me. My original point was that it is annoying when you are trying to do something non-threating in the wilderness and someone kills you. If you were doing a level 3/4 clue and someone killed you I bet you would be annoyed. But, I'm not trying to be right here. The description for this section of the forum is labelled 'vent your frustrations' etc. I made this topic because I am fed up of people killing me when I go into high wildly to train skills/clue scrolls etc. As I said before, I'm not trying to say that they shouldn't kill me, I'm just letting people know that I am frustrated. If you're constantly getting killed, however, then your xp/hr is drastically decreasing and it's probably more worthwhile to find somewhere else to train until the pking frenzy dies down. You're hurting yourself and yourself only when you stay with this stubborn course of action. I understand the frustration but it's not like you don't have reasonable alternatives.
