I would prefer it if you altered between sessions. So if you altered during a session then yes you probably should change it back. Out of curiosity what did you alter?

I did alter it between sessions, but it was at the same time as I was calculating the changes from level 2 to level 3. You said we shouldn't do altering after we reached level 3, but I was wondering if it was alright to alter at the same time as when I was bringing my character up to level 3.

 

I basically changed my animal companion and twiddled with the feats for it. After seeing that it was more interesting to have a fighting animal companion than a riding one, I basically adjusted it for that.

 

So is it okay?

Had a cool duel with Icu. I was kinda cheap and summoned an awesome elemental, but it was still relatively honorable.

 

He was a good fighter, but had very unlucky rolls, so he barely hit, but it was still fun.

Here is a small explanation, to help you out in future.

 

Things which honour does not mean:

-Mind controlling your fellow party members

-Mind controlling your fellow party members animal companions

-Summoning backup in the middle of a 1v1 duel

-Backstabbing in a 1v1 duel

-Using aforementioned backup to trip the opponent in a 1v1 duel

-Mind controlling anything during a duel

-Running away from melee after the dishonourably summoned backup has been taken out

 

This has been a fun lesson from Jericho, the chaotic good semi-eccentric who *still* seems to know more about honour than either of you :-D

What happened to the server?.. And did anyone order a cold iron weapon?..

Just because they were class features or triggers does not mean they were honourable or should be used in a 1v1 duel. The horse was pushing it, especially since you used it to attack, IIRC.

 

Don't mind me, just pointing out that you two wouldn't know honour if it jumped up and bit you in the face.

 

(For the record, I do not particularly care, but this is how my character would react)

 

In other news, my character now has a lightsaber. Not that I'll ever be in melee combat, but my character loves fire based weaponry so I am taking as many fire based items as I can.

Oh, nevermind then. I was going to ask that my Character be allowed to buy a cold iron weapon, but since we didn't egt to Oleg's, that won't work.

Keep in mind that you won't always be fighting mites/creatures with DR/cold iron.

To answer Ross

 

My character was using MC as a joke originally, did not know it was an insult to elves. That's how it started.

 

I was all up for honour, but once honour was removed from the duel I didn't see a reason to keep it. Plus the duel got kinda weird towards the end.

I also forgot, but elves get +2 to resisting mind affecting spells. :)

 

It was all good though, so no problems.

I know, Grim, but it's a hand axe. The cold iron effect is only if we encounter those DR, I can use my fists on the rest.

Might be a better idea to get a monk weapon with cold iron.

Question: do regular run of the mill (non-intelligent/sentient) items get will saves or spell resistance?

In the flavor text, it says that mainly druids and druid/rangers become nature wardens, but druids don't have a specific ability called favored terrain. Would it be possible to be houseruled that the favored terrain of a druid be the forest?
