runesmithie
What languages do you speak? I'm a native speaker of American English, I understand British English for the most part though ;) (weirdos) I've been through 2 years of Spanish class and I've retained only a basic knowledge of it... :( And currently in my 1:32 AM thought train I'm thinking about learning Esperanto :D I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. Faux
Tagalog (National language of the Philippines) + I can understand 2 other dialects (used to be able to speak them too, but forgot it as time passed by without ever using them to talk with). English is my second language. I also learnt a bit of French, but IMO, it shouldn't be forced to be taught at schools. What's the point of learning French when one word in english equals at the least, two in French. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

If dead languages count, Latin & Ancient Greek. I'm quite sure this topic has been posted before, but meh.

How2PK
Dutch English, pretty good, I guess. I think Matt understood me most of the time. :P That's about it, my french and german suck pretty bad. I could survive with using hand and feet in both countries though. Pete_the_Viscous
First, English. I speak about enough German to butt in on my friends' (who take German, so speak it) conversations with stupid things. I don't speak French (I've always found it embarrassing to do so, with all the nasal business), but I remember enough to get the gist of "easy" written or spoken stuff. deviantart account

Astralinre
I'm a native English speaker, I can get by fairly well in Spanish, and I know a few words of French and Latin, but not enough to put a sentence together. punk4ever
I speak, write and understand, fluently, English & Serbo-Croatian (known as Bosnian to some). I used to speak, write and understand German fluently, but it's been many years since I've lived there..so I can only understand what others speak now :( 2 years + 1 year independent study of French has only brought me to comprehend the basics, but I'm still learning :) By The_Jeppoz

Schwarzenegger
Speak French and English fluently, always have. My mom is American and my dad is French. I know a couple words in various languages. Not enough to carry on a converstaion though. Although with languages such as Dutch (very similar to English) or Spanish (similar to french), if I listen to a video over and over again, I can start picking up what's going on, somewhat.
