January 1, 200620 yr i would say two awesome intros are the sleep by pantera, and the root of all evil by dream theater. ill think of some more and edit in a decent list later.
January 1, 200620 yr Muse - Plug in Baby cannot be ignored. Nor can Kenny Loggins - Footloose :D I have to say though, my favourite is Golden Earring - Radar Love. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

By the way i downloaded and listened to that weird german song. I thought it was neat. lol i just heard about that song from a friend a week or so ago. Intro like just a beginning part to a song that might last a couple minutes? or like the Hellion by Judas Priest thats like a song, but leads to the next song?
January 2, 200620 yr Mayhem - De Mysteriis dom Sathanas - Not really an intro, but that creeping "welcome to hell" there basically shows that's coming. A total hell. Shame that this is the cd's last song, would be a perfect starter for this cd. Stratovarius - Hunting high and low - Made me speechless when I first put Infinite into my player. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
January 2, 200620 yr Under the Bridge has a cool opening. Yep yep, that's a good one. "Fade to Black" by Metallica has an awesome intro. Basically a full-out guitar solo before the verses even start. Then an awesome guitar solo for the outro also. I enver much liked the verses, but the beginning and end are pretty sweet.
January 3, 200620 yr ^ That's a good one Scruffy. I think the intro really works because it goes into the verse really well, yet it being very different to it. I like it, the guitar in the verse is almost folk-y. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
January 3, 200620 yr oh yeah, Bullet for My Valentine - Intro/Her Voice Resides Apocolyptica did the strings for it. awesome :D
January 3, 200620 yr "Stuck On You" by Failure, "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails, "The Noose" by A Perfect Circle, "Cemetary Gates" by Pantera and "The Grudge" by Tool all have rather nice (and odd) intros.
January 3, 200620 yr The intro to the song "The One Armed Boxer vs The Flying Guillotine" by From First to Last is incredible, all members at once just scream "Kill the Lights!!" really great sound when they do it live.

January 4, 200620 yr Queen's tie your mother down Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
January 4, 200620 yr Oh man, the intro's to Robot Rock and Human After All by Daft Punk too, how could I forget! :o This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
January 4, 200620 yr The end of this chapter - Sonata Arctica : This song deffinitly has one of my favorite beginings and intros of all time. The way the phone call starts, the shock in the girls voice. I love the way the singer changes his voice when he hits these lyrics: Do you remember? Or did it all go in vain... The bolded part where he changes, from a very sad state to an almost evil, twisted one. The begining realy sets the mood for how he feels throughout the song. Other than that, as my favorite song nearly and favorite opening of all time, here are some more: Fury of the Storm - Dragonforce : There realy has been few time's where i've just been awestruck by how fast a band played. This was one of them. There are alot of other songs I love the intros to, but those 2 realy stand out.
January 4, 200620 yr I myself love the intro to Adam's Songs - Blink 182 simple but sounds so great Stay Together For The Kids riff is so much better.
