You mean this? Last I checked, the interface was pretty bad.

what does that have to do with the cat interface?

A cat based interface that is out of date. No idea why he would be mad at only the cat interface when every pet/summon uses it, and this is the only thing that comes to mind.

From the empty days of hope, deny the darkness
Follow my voice, we'll run far away from here

If only to hide, to escape this life
And live forever, forever in the sun

I think he was just pointing out that the interface for the catspeak amulet is terrible, because maybe the OP got confused, and that's what he was really referring to.

If it had a chase button, it'd be better. But what else is bad about it? -_-

The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. He doesnt even have any friends.

[spoiler=Other Quotes]tbh idk why this makes me laugh so hard

All DFS threads turn into efficiency flame wars >.>

>OP asks "why use DFS?"

>everyone says "there is no reason"

>someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown"

>thread is now a flame fest

What's wrong with it?

+1

The interface when you try to get it to catch a rat, or pet it, etc. It's very outdated and makes catching rats in Evil Dave's basement a little annoying, to say the least. "BUT IT SHOULD BE A LITTLE DIFFICULT, SPICES GIVE hUGE BOOSTS LOL!" I hear my opponents shout. Yet remember when the cats were designed, way back when in the earlier days of RS2. It's clearly shown its age by not even getting a right click option.

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

SIGGIED.

On-topic: if this is, indeed, the guy who made the thread about JaGex making quests to steal money, then he's just a troll, and a poor one at that.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Only problem I had with that cat interface was not being able to see it if you haven't done the wolf whistle.

If you haven't done that quest you won't have the little summoning controls (There's one that shows hp, then the quick prays, then the sum controls) so it's impossible to tell your kitten/cats growth and hungry.. Unless they fixed it

Because some people dislike summoning aesthetically, or are stakers/skillers etc.

Afaik, just pet it every 10% growth - no problem.

I found a panda and then we bought malt liquor. I hold my malt liquor better than a panda.

And I thought my weekends were good. ._.

Oh, that interface. Yea, that one is clunky and pretty terrible, I'll admit. They should really just move those options to the follower interface (the newer one that's set up like a summon interface) as three new buttons and do away with the rest of it. They should keep the "Interact" menu option, but clicking it should just direct you to the follower interface instead of the chat window options.

Yea, my bad, when you first mentioned "cat interface", the first thing that popped into my head was the little display to the right of the chat window that has the growth/hunger rate, Call Follower button, etc. It never even crossed my mind that you meant the "Interact with" menu option to stroke, chase or shoo.

Then again, little near-broken content like that is endemic to RS, which is why there are so many threads and posts advocating that Jagex temporarily put a hold on new content development in favor of cleaning up the older content and - maybe - bringing it up to date with the most recent content.
