Anyone know if i'm guaranteed to get the Hardened Edition if i preordered it? I'm going to the midnight release and apparently everywhere is sold out online so I hope my copy is in stock.

Why I'm waiting to buy MW3. I'm no dashborder, but knowing there's this kind of bug in the game tells me that it is not going to be stable at launch.

Let's hope, I still don't have my gamer's unlocked membership sorted out. Best Buy generally pisses me off but I enjoy the free gift certs i get from buying all the games I buy. If they disappoint me this time i'm liable to flip out on their so called gaming specialists.

After seeing the video I have to say this: At first I thought that the reset was appropriate and that it was wanted, until I saw the rest of the video.

 

Seriously, ragequitting has been the Cancer of Black Ops and I hope this bug persists so that people won't be ragequitting anymore.

Maybe they don't deserve a full reset, but an increasing ban time for the amount of offenses should be fine. 15 minutes for the first time, 30 for the second, 1 hour for the third, 2 for the fourth, and keep adding on.

 

Also I'm going to the midnight release. Gives me maximum playtime for after school tomorrow.

Part of what makes CoD fun and addictive is that you can quickly join and quit out of (without a penalty) games.

Back from the midnight launch. Not going to lie, the steel case from the hardened edition is pretty badass.

I've personally decided to wait on it since picking up the new Uncharted 3 and then the new Elder Scroll on Friday, and having BF3 & FIFA 12. Too many video games for me to handle right now.

I've personally decided to wait on it since picking up the new Uncharted 3 and then the new Elder Scroll on Friday, and having BF3 & FIFA 12. Too many video games for me to handle right now.

Yeah I'm thinking about getting Skyrim too. It will have to wait a bit longer though as I just bought MW3.

 

And I bought it because it's Infinity Ward, not the laggy Treyarch (which I'm never buying a CoD from again).

 

And I feel like MW3 is going to be a very good game. Feels like MW2 but is slow like BO. Not many campers as far as I have seen, but this could change as soon as kids get the game. Appart from that, I don't know what it was, but some enemy players get shown on the minimap, not sure if it's a killstreak or if it's because they were camping.

The ability to quickly quit and enter another game is. Maybe I shouldn't have said fun, but it certainly helps in terms of how addictive (for lack of better term) the game is. Especially because the game doesn't search on skill, but rather the first connection to a game it can get.

Yeah I figured it would be perks. There was multiple poeple showing up on the map. Personally I think MW3 is pretty promising.

does the fast ads perk affect the snipers?

It's obviously a lot better than Black Ops, was playing most of the day as I didn't have anything to do, weird how noticable it was when all the little kids got home from school there was a sudden influx of campers. Well, not that weird really.

- all maps I've played so far have the same feel to them. A lot of rubble, destroyed cars and dust laying around. No fun gimmicks like in black ops, where nearly every map had that special something or a gimmick in them. They also seem to lack a proper structure.

- guns do more damage than in blops.

- lag = instant rage

- killstreaks are rewarding and fun to use. (got that 10 killstreak where you shoot guided missiles and it was fun)

- single player had a michael bay beginning unlike any cod campaign so far, will be exhausting if the same pace keeps up. Played prologue and first two missions

- I wish I could unlock guns in the order I wanted to.

I prefer unlocking weapons at a certain level instead of having to buy them with CoDdollars.

You fail to mention 'Dome' which is actually the same name as one from COD5.

The maps are all to similar for my likking to start with - i think that Bl.ops and COD4 had the best selection of maps to date.

Wut?.. Like in Bl.ops? Even then you still had to get a high level to unlock the gun.
