If only this had MW2 or CoD4 maps.

Are the maps that bad? I've heard quite a few people complaining about them.

There's just not much variety, they're alright but they're samey.

I'm going to stick with BF3 and Skyrim. If it would have blew the predecessors or BF3 out of the water, I would have purchased it.

I like the game better, so far mostly played campaign but I haven't had any lag yet (ovbiously omnipresent in treyarch games).

Question for people who own this on PC: how well does it run on your computers? I checked out the SRL for it and it said I passed by a pretty big margin, but Black Ops ran horribly on my computer, so I'm kinda worried that the same thing will happen.

 

I remember seeing some people say that Black Ops was poorly optimised for PC or something but I don't really have any idea whether that's true or not, haha.

Not going to lie, that campaign was disappointing.

 

Multiplayer was alright though. Can't really find anything to complain about in the 5 games I played.

if you chose a weapon/ perk to keep once you prestiege does it last that 1 prestiege, or every prestiege. i want dead silence as soon as i prestiege but if its only for one im not wasnt tokens on it

 

also you cant cancel animations with yy anymore, you still can do it with equpment like semtex, clay, tac insert etc

Here is my feelings towards this game, I hated MW2 if that gives this any relevance.

 

-Kill confirmed is the standout gamemode, It's just simply a blast and very fast paced. Discourages camping.

-I prefer levels > codmoney and I enjoy leveling up my weapons to max for aesthetic shit.

-I like the new killstreak system, I thought it would be Overpowered but it's not considering you can choose which type of kill-streak for each class you create. i'm using support atm.

-As others have said the maps seem bland, they probably seem that way because they're all urban. So far I like Dome, Underground, and Downtown.

 

-I have Hardended edition and can't even use the Elite service or receive my founder rewards..

-My friends and I have encountered party issues such as getting into a game and 3 people getting kicked and 1 remaining in the game.

-I really can't think of anything else negative yet, the campaign seems fine to me so far but i'm only like 30% through it.

I'm about at 70% campaign and have spent a lot of time on it, but that's just because I play it on the hardest setting. So far it's been action filled and stuff. I do tend to hate the stealth missions though.

Kill Confirmed is definatley the best game mode now - Incredibly fast and fun and the EXP is probably on par with HQ if you can average 20+ kills a game which I can.

 

So far I have only been quick scoped one time and im lvl 53. This is good news for me because quick scoping is gay.

It hasn't worked since launch. I tried logging into it when i got home from midnight launch and apparently they figured it would be better to have millions of people go through a registration process at once rather than spreading it out prior to launch. It's sporadically working now, but my gamertag won't sync because their server which monitors if you're on mw3 is overloaded. Hopefully they get the bottlenecks fixed, I'm regretting spending the extra 40.00 on Hardened Edition now.

Prob everyone tryin out Kill Confirmed lol. Only things I've played thus far is TDM, TEAM TAC, and KC

 

S&D is pretty fun atm though, doesn't seem as slow paced as Blops.

Knife lunge is twice as long as in black ops. And I'm bad at panic kniving. :-(

Why would someone want extra perks instead of killstreaks?

KC is definitely the best gamemode right now. I love how fast paced it is, and there are very few campers. Of course, there aren't any campers until school kids come to their home. I tried quite a few gamemods so far and I have to say I like MW3.

 

Also I was able to get in Elite the one time I tried it, but difference is that it was right after the AST midnight release, in other words the first release in North America. Not worth paying for it imo.

Real sniping is back at least, getting quite frustrating that there's NEVER a UAV up unless someone gets one in a care package.

What gametype are you playing? There's UAVs all the time in my games.

In comparison to MW2, how is MW3? (I never touched BlackOps)
