Yeah there is a beep before they speak. Probably to imitate a CB or something.

got founder shit to work now. only going to pretiege 4 times, once to unlock dead silence and the rest for my last 4 classes

 

incase anyone didnt know, if you turn colour blind assist on you can see enemy stealth bomers on you mini map, they apear as orange.

I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but this has happend to me twice.

 

On my first prestige i went 40-50 then went off, when i came back i was lvl 40 again.

 

Happened again earlier 46-51, back on and was 46.

 

Stupid. Now level 54 thou.

 

Interesting tip about the stealth bomber thou even thou you can hear it about 5 seconds before it lands to get cover.

Gotta love PP90 with extended mags and kick. <3 Almost feels like 74u from Cod4. It's pretty much the only gun I use, although that will change once I unlock AK47.

 

Been dominating the last 5-7 games or so with 55-65 kills against 3-7 deaths with:

 

PP90 ext mags and kick

.44

 

Ext con

Assassin (Feels like tier 2 is useless, no good perks there really)

Stalker (This is honestly the best perk in the history of Cod, makes using assault rifles so much better)

 

UAV, Predator, Heli.

 

That setup is so amazing, tbh.

 

However, I'm slightly disappointed in several things. First, the music (a very minor issue, but still). It's not nearly as good as the soundtrack from MW2. Silly Hans Zimmer. :(

2nd, how IW/SH/Activision royally screwed over PC gamers yet again. They promised dedicated servers few months ago, but what they forgot to mention they'd be unranked up until about 3-4 weeks ago. 3rd, next to no config tweaks allowed. No maxfps, drawfps, fov, maxpackets etc. Being stuck at 90 fps is awful, but being stuck on 65 fov is much worse. It just looks wrong. They should at least have made it default 80 on PC.

 

Black Ops may not have been the greatest game ever, but at least there us PC gamers got most of the basics needed for proper PC gaming. IW/SH/Activision really messed up here. I thought they had learnt from MW2.

 

Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed with this.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention, also disappointed how they "removed" reload cancelling/double tapping 1/YY-ing or whatever it's called. I'm way too used to doing that and it has screwed me over several times when reloading and I meet an enemy. D:

There is no cover from a stealth bomber. You have to literally get out of the path of it or you die, regardless of your position inside or outside.

Actually, if having find match instead of dedicated servers means that I can have local hosts (as opposed to having to join an Australian server for me), I'm fine with it.

Haven't yet got the game, hopefully getting for christmas. :)

Decided to watch a couple of gameplays last night though. I actually laughed when I saw the PP90M1's reload. As the guy in the gameplay said, it looks like your 'pee-pee' is a super soaker. :twss:

Took me 1day 6hours in game time to finnaly figure out a good set up and how to play the maps, This means my ratio is going up, from 1.54 -> 1.58 (4.5k kills) just from today :o

 

Hopefully I can get up to 1.70 ish which is slightly above B.ops(1.64 - 26k kills) but i understand the MW series are harder for me to get a good KD.

Get it to 2.0 like a real man!

2.0 isnt happening till maybe the next Treyarch game :D I like rushing too much and put myself in stupid position alot :ohnoes:

K/D isn't fully relative of how good you are anyway, for example, you could go for a day messing about with a riot shield which totally messes your K/D and makes it not truely relevant to your ingame "skill". So, just don't care about it. :)

We're going down this road again? 99 out of a 100 times a guy with a k/d of 2.0 is better than a guy with a k/d of .2. K/D isn't fully relative of how good you are anyway, for example, you could go for a day messing about with a riot shield which totally messes your K/D and makes it not truely relevant to your ingame "skill". So, just don't care about it. :)

I agree with this - Even thou I only had a 1.64 K/d I was usually top of the leaderboars for S/m for every game mode and was actually ranked 12th for Snd weekly records once :D

 

Dat rushing gives the best exp.
