Also new plan for champion scrolls: killing 100 of each monster I still need, every day. Along with chomps of course.

Gains today: 400 goblin, 200 zombie, 121 hill giant kills. Battle-mage & vanguard boots as well (4/7, only need placeholders now). Won one SW game - cost an hour to get that much, of which 2/3 waiting.

Me and a few other people slaying have drop rates ranging from 1/420k-1/700k slay atm using the ideal task list.

Which is good, slayer's been useless for too long. Effigies + boss tasks will help there.

 

76/500 medals and 2100/4000 chompies. Also won a SW game.

I had 6 effigies in bank from before the nerf years ago and forgot about them, finally got around to having them assisted just so I could get the lamps and have a shot at more effigies, I am grim thinking of the number I missed out on from slayer and bossing over the last year+

I got an effigy at glacors today! First one in 86 shards, woo. Saving it for Divination.

 

Also finished PC forever: 3 elite void sets (all helms + deflectors, but only one mace), 3 of each boot + one keepsaked.

 

And 2250 chompies, I am now a Dragon Archer. Next hatsie at 3000 :).

 

Edit: Another 600 assorted kills (about 420 goblin/180 zombie) and another SW win.

 

Maybe with t99 2h weapons, void, overload and turmoil you could get close to guaranteed one-shots on hill giants. Would be nice.

Killed a bunch of glacors (870k magic xp), finished abs, no boots for 100 shards :(.

Also a couple of hundred zombies and goblins and no luck there.

Lost a SW game as well, do not want :(.

I wish I had your patience for Glakkers. I get bored after about 10 minutes every time I go.

Idk, I'm pretty bored of them after 100 shards without boots, but with wand + book the kph is really nice.

 

Todays haul: No gains @ SW (problems with a crasher FC when I tried, twice), up to 85 medals @ Flingers, 4500 prayer xp from regular bones (mostly goblins, some zombies).

 

Also for those looking for oldschool items: the shadow sword is still pretty cool.

I used to play SW all of the time. What chat do you play with and who is giving you trouble? I'm still good friends with some of the bigger clans

I use Ancientsouls mostly, idk what chat was crashing, I missed that part of chat (I lag a lot at SW, ok). When not crashed, it's pretty easy to win. Meh, I hate sw regardless.

Ok so about 1000-1500 goblins later, no scroll, but ok. Also hit 15m rc & 50k span points - 130k to go (about 6.5m xp). 480m overall xp. First podium spot in a FF game (score 46, third, tied with spots 1-2). And +20 laquer as well, doing well on the trade goods front I guess.

What's the bestest way to do Dom Tower? (Especially journals). That might be the next comp req (desert tasks - sunfreet is only one I need to do a lot for) I go for leaving Livid and MTA then to finish comp!

Last I did the dominion tower the best way to get journals was to do one fight and then immediately leave because it's a chance at a journal page on opening the chest, DT didn't have an effect. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Either way doing 500 boss kills the normal way landed me 14/20 when I was going through it.

The pages thing got fixed, now you just get dominion factor and that's it. It's mostly about getting the fastest kills, I think. Climber is good fun, more DF earlier on, endurance is probably really easy since EoC so you can just do that for 120390 floors.

I did it not too long ago. Did endurance floors to 100k dominion factors then looted chest and repeated. Didn't take too long at all. Just make sure you have everything you need, namely runes for dagannoth mothers.
