KingWenlok
flava0falcon- We do this investigation purely because we receive enjoyment from it. Your post could be considered discouraging towards our hard working team members, and as such we do not welcome posts like yours. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CURRENT THEORIES, THEN DO NOT POST! It's that simple, yet people fail to understand that. The article also says that Dionysius of Alexandria sought to eliminate heresy within the early Christian church. I've been keeping this to myself for awhile now, but I've been having feelings that WOM sees the wizards in the tower as heretics, because they've accepted a known Zamorakian into their circle, or because they may or may not be meddling with the powers of summoning. Who knows? :-k If the WOM can prove that they are heretics, then he may not even need to invade the Tower. He could just slowly bring them down from within, and would easily gain the favour of Saradomin. Also, if he acts like a good boy and prevents the secrets of summoning being further used, Saradomin will be very happy that the WOM prevented mortals from knowing how to do it. He could also be plotting to defeat the mourners in their plans to bring Zamorak back to Gielinor, which would further Saradomin's delights in the WOM's accomplishments. So, the Black Knights could just be a Plan B, or last resort. Oh and by the way, Dionysius' (the god) other name was Bacchus, so if that rings any bells, don't hesitate to put your thoughts forward.

I didn't consider that before. Well, Varrock being primarily Saradominist (I say primarily as it's sort of a mixed Zamorakian/Saradominist city), the people would be slightly disappointed that their king is part of a society filled with heretics. So I think we might have to wave bye bye to King Roald...
Trobigod
One more point to the person who made that lame post about one million theories. Sure you can put up many theories, but how do you prove that it's even remotely possible? Would like to know if you can prove your Sandwhich Lady and Party Pete theory, since you're the one who brought it up.

Xewleer
I'm going to say this once, Leave this topic if you have nothing to add, we don't need this kind of negativity, when we are in hiatus from any mind blowing discovery. Well, it looks like that the histories will be given at monday or tuesday, gotta keep myself patient. BTW, Bob is Robert the Strong I'm doing a tail of two cats right now. About the heretical King of Varrock. In the Quest, what lies below, he is taken over and possessed by a magician named Surok Magis. Now all those of the clan/guild thing that Surok is in all have first and last names of a strange nature. So does the guy who advises the King... starting to see my logic? In Darkness of Hallowvale, the advisor (can't even begin to spell his name) prevented the King from sending troops, rather, he says he needs t review Guthixian edicts. But he also has a different version of the stuff that the Zamorackian mages wore. So I think that the King is already at least unconsiously controlled. I'll show you how terrifying a true Christian can be!It's Xewleer: ZEW le ar, got it memorized?Hermit of the Varrock Library and its proud guard. Someone in Tip.It translated it, but maybe Surok Magis can be translated, too, along with all those other names. Anyone want to find out? I may go to an anagram site later and try some of the names. We know what you are trying to do and the VPSG will stop you! Do not attempt to leave the palace or you will be arrested on sight. We will not hesitate to kill you if you disobey King Roald's orders. Gonna see if I can post the letter with the symbols to see if they have relation to other runescape symbols and we might find some sort of patron that reveals itself the signifiance of the life, why the sky is blue, why the toats ever falls in the butter side and all those secrets... http://darkluniux.blogspot.comBehold my blog! Omar
I found this in the RSOF, about Some rocks that look likeÃÆÃââââ‰â¬Å A sun/mind rune, cracked in the middle. a wave spell A lunar teleport Ancient magicks. Apparently, you can only see it on the mini-map. ive just gone there for research if the broken stone is a mind symbol, then find someone in runescape who is with broken mind, possibly insane, or with multiple personalities? possibly a man who has no soul, possibly a man who breaks the boundaries of the mind, a man who has no sense of what he is doing is wrong a man who, because ofsaradomin would be considered wise maybe his is also old and so has a slightly broken mind, a man who steals thing like MIND runes if you show them to him, and a man who must have broken mind because he expect you to have poisonous cadava berries in your bank for some reason, and he wants them, perhaps he is good with his mind and thinks up devious plots, for which he need to be able to see far away places, usng mayebe a telescope, pointiing at a place full of runes, whilst living south of falador, and near the standing stones and who is also keeping his telescope on someone who can teleport him to a place to get something from which he can create mind runes, maybe he plans to create a new combination of runes, mand and matter (body) or extendminds to use spells more powerful than waves, but only to him, so he can get cheaprunes and do mega damage, and he wants these cheap runes becauseeven though he is rich (maybe he has full of a god armor?) he is cheap and is the type who would go round robbing banks...hmm? who could it be? The twisted man planning to do something with these ancient grounds, maybe this man is already suspected by the security guards of his town for crimes, and maybe he is bestowed with godly powers, and gives you a blessing for your help, can you have a guess who may have a broken mind and be called by the stone of mind!!! Filmaker1 17-Apr-2007 20:28:50 im not saying this man did it but i bet he is involved maybe im wrong, but i suspect, as you probably guessed who i was talking about... Filmaker1 17-Apr-2007 20:29:23 the culprit is...godzilla! Filmaker1 17-Apr-2007 20:30:19 lol joke i think the wise old man will take an interest ion these rocks and try to use there power (greedy idiot, why not just retire?) mememe513
New Postbag from the Hedge, contains letter to WOM: Dear Wise Old Man, In my recent learnings of math, a level of which I'd hope you'd know, being wise and all, I came to wonder what the width of Runescape, if it were truly round like a sphere, was. First I collected my data. Using a sextant, watch, and chart I found that there are 32 paces to a degree. Then, setting up my formula for finding the arc length of a circle, Keeping up with me? Then, I converted 1 degree into radian measures, or pi/180. The formula was now this: 32 paces = pi/180 x r (radius in paces) I divided both sides by pi/180, and got roughly 1833 paces for the radius of Runescape, if it were in fact truly round like a sphere. So, the circumference of Runescape, at 0 degrees, should be roughly 11,500 paces. The surface area would be roughly 42,200,000 paces. I'm sure not even a third of that is being used at the moment. So... my question is this: Where is it all? Surely you must know... ~Gogetagss~ And this is the reply Dear Adventurer Gogetagss, Yes, yes, I can see what you're saying but ignoring the inaccuracies (you're 20 paces off)... Of course, these calculations only work because RuneScape is spherical - some planes are spade-shaped; how are you going to figure them out, eh? Anyway, what exactly was your question? "Where is it all?" Well, clearly it's there, it exists. Your mathematics proves it, if it wasn't we'd all be floating off into the air due to the distinct lack of mass needed for gravity to work. A while ago I had a thought along these lines so I constructed some boots covered in glue and started stockpiling rubber bands, just in case. They're around here somewhere... Anyway, just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there. The mere fact that you are breathing that clear transparent stuff proves this. I mean, you can't see the back of your own head, but you're fairly sure it's there, aren't you? In the interests of Science, I did organise for a level two man from Lumbridge to begin testing your theory of the circumference. In the last letter I got he was heading into Morytania. I haven't heard from him in a while; I wonder what happened. Was there anything else? I'm very busy, you know: things to do, plans to make, schemes to act out. Trobigod
mememe513, that's my point exactly, especially the last line with the scheming, planning and such. KCHughes
April has come and gone, and still no update to the histories. I'm disappointed.
