Nobody would recognize him as an agent of the WOM. ( :lol: 'agent of the WOM,' that would be a great band name) Maybe it's just the tip of the iceberg, and he's beginning to accumulate an army. One is a mind reader, another is a good and friendly guy for a zamorakian, and the last is a very powerful mage. Surok magis has a different power in his own right. Apparently He has a bit of a mix, but not a very good one, relying more on spells and such than the other three, who seem to have a more natural ability (Just my opinion!) Anyway, there was little/no connection to WOM. Zaff of Zaff's staffs can do some slight mindcontrol, at least to dispell it. Thank goodness we are getting a history update this month, Reldo had a slight mishap with the Library last month and a few of his prized tomes went missing briefly (apparently one of the restoration spells used to tidy up old books put the wrong covers on them). As a result, last month's Lores and Histories update didn't happen. Rest assured, though, it'll take a natural disaster of epic proportions to deter Reldo from bringing them to you this month (although rats chewing through the binding will probably upset him enough). Anyway... rereading over the letter to the WOM, I noticed he mentioned a man disappearing on the way to Morytania, in the Darkness of Hallowvale quest, a man is knocked out and dragged off by werewolf minions of Vanstrom Klaus (Ivan Strom, members will know what I mean) maybe thats where he went? (excluding a player killing him of course! :P ) Anyway, take a look at the haiku's from the WOM, maybe they hold clues? There is no escape for those npc's taken, but when I finish a lobby fishing job I'll go take a look to see if anything has changed since... they really need a teleport to there. I hate vampyres... Why on earth would he send a level 2 man from Lumbridge to investigate Morytania, one of the most lethal places in Gielinor? Surely WOM would have realized that the man's chances of survival were next to nothing, yet he still expected the man to return alive and make a detailed report of his findings? That's insane, why would he do that, unless he's also a sadist. I've got: 1) WOM purposely sent the man out knowing that he was not going to survive, but didn't want to pay a skilled adventurer to help him, or 2) WOM didn't really do that, and it's a cover story to make it look like he's still interested in gaining wisdom. Which of the four symbols did we think was in Morytania? Was it death or pestilence? (This is going way back to some of the first meetings) the russians are the best! Hands down! Change them into Degree/Minute/Second form and you get this 20 degrees, 54 minutes 7 degrees, 4 minutes Maybe somethings there? also JaGeX is updating the graphic in Varrock this month maybe you can find something?
